I have read on Youtube that the video has been shot, Do somebody know if it is real or it is just a rumour? I hope to see them really really sexy & hot in the video, like in 'No Can Do' video.

The video hasn't been done I don't think - I read that it was being filmed later this week, directed by Emil Nava who did Tinchy Stryder's videos. His are all really plain so I can't say I'm expecting much.

This sound like Boom Boom Pow (beat)/I Know U Want Me (music) in girl version :lol:

They've done the video treatment i think :unsure:

I'm not too keen on it.. the lyrics are pretty awful.

I think it will be a hit, i didn't buy "Change" or "Catfights and Spotlights" but i'm definitely tempted to give this album a go on the strength of "Get Sexy".

I think this is a great sign for the babes in general :)

Why does everybody gets worried about lyrics in this song? :unsure: IMO clever lyrics wouldn't suit this song at all.

This song isn't meant to be about good lyrics. It's a club banger and it just doesn't need good lyrics although i don't think they are bad at all. As I have said previously somewhere they are not talking about sex or anything sleazy as people seem to think, they are saying that they are sexy and even Melly says you can look but can't touch. If i looked deep into the lyrics i would say that they want people to feel sexy but you just don't need to even look at the lyrics to the song.

I'm not sure whether I like the new single yet. I think it could either do quite well or underperform because its so different to their other stuff and may alienate alot of fans. I think if it doesnt do well, that might be the last we hear from the Sugababes so hope it does ok.

Well, maybe I'm overreacting but I can really see it going to #1 for two weeks before Dizzee is released on 31st Aug. I can't see any other big contenders unless someone will be doing wonders.

if the sugababes new album is great like the song i may buy it but i might wait and see what the second single was like because i bought change because i loved about you now but the other singles were not as good.

I think Dizzee Rascal is being released for download 2nd August... so I heard yesterday on the radio anyway (sometime early August).

 

Anyway the more I hear this, the more I hate it. It's a total cringefest. Rips off so many songs.

Doesn't matter if it gets to number 1 anyway anymore really, Girls became their 5th best seller peaking at 3. I'd be happy if this got top 5 and stuck around ^_^

Nah it needs to go to #1 for the album i think.

I am quite disappointed by this new song....listening to "Get Sexy" and then "Bottle Pop" by PCD...I prefered the latter!! It is complicated to do something great like "Freak" again, though, so I guess this is an OK start for the new album campaign.

 

With no GA this year though, it will be interesting to see the performance of the Sugababes v Saturdays v Girls Cant Catch in the fall.

it doesn't look like GCC are going to do much tbh. It's release has just been pushed back a bit. And The Sats haven't had their premier yet so we don't know what their offering is going to be if it's not One Shot or Wordshaker. So i think Sugas are looking to win.
