I think the only competition is the Dizzee/Calvin $h!te tbh, think it will be a fight between them and the Sugas for the #1

why do people keep saying Dizzee and Calvin. Calvin doesn't feature he only produced it. Chrome did the singing.

But most of people know that Calvin has actually produced it. And I will agree with Lukuzz. :) This song is the only real competitor but veery strong and really can spoil our fun. Now I just hope they won't release their tracks digitally on the same week.

 

By the way, it's time to get Radio One Airplay, I hope they will go there this Wednesday.

I think/hope they will be c-list on Wednesday. Does anybody know how many weeks Girls/AYN got playlisted on radio 1 before the release?

I agree that Bitrocka isn't up to much.

 

The Pitron and Sanna mix of Girls is omfg amaze, and this one is by far the better of the two, but i'm hoping for an Ultrabeat remix

I just got round to listening to 'Get Sexy' for the first time, why are they trying to be American again? It's an alright track but it just smacks of unoriginality, especially the Right Said Fred inspired chorus.

 

Still, at least it's infinitely better than 'Girls' but they won't be gaining any credibility or respect for this.

The SP&MS Remix is amazing. Brilliant.

Love the vid. A little on the cheap side but wonderfully eye-catching and they all look great, especially Heidi. Live performance at Amsterdam's gay pride event last night:

 

 

LQ but you get the gist. I think the dance moves are great! Not much different from their usual posey thing but enough to suit the song. Keisha also confirmed that the second single is titled 'About A Girl', see the album thread for more details on that.

This new single is awful and the video isn't much better.

 

Ms Thang's part in the song is fiyah though and all the ladies look good in the video.

Little Boots unhappy with Sugababes single

 

Little Boots has admitted that she is disappointed by the Sugababes' new single 'Get Sexy'.

 

The rising electropop star revealed that she is a big fan of the girlband but cannot understand why they have decided to change their sound so drastically.

 

Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, she commented: "I normally really like them but I was surprised by their new song 'Get Sexy'.

 

"It's such a big change for them and it's taking me a long time to warm to it."

 

Sugababes have vowed to "up their game" with their forthcoming seventh studio album after feeling complacent when promoting Catfights And Spotlights last year.

 

'Get Sexy' will be released on August 31, with the new album following later in the year.

I don't think Little Boots should complain until we've heard the full album, there could still be some Suga sound.

Also, imo, the only competition is Dizzee, and his new song isn't as good as I was expecting. The 'babes should hopefully beat it easily
