Can't wait for the release of this (when is it :kink:). Also, is there any news on the album yet?

Jade presenting the 5:19 show and she performs My Man acoustically at the end:

Quality really bad, video and sound. The music sounds out of tune for some reason.

Not my preferred music, but I really, really like it. :o

Shame it's bad quality as it keeps going out of tune. Can't wait to hear the HQ version of the actual song though! :D
Hopefully the video is good as she's shooting it in Miami. :) She also said she should be going on tour with someone in October. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head who is touring then but it's great she will be supporting.

Ooh I hope it's Alesha! But I suppose it'd be a bit weird for that, considering Jade seems like quite a big name after Eurovision. Think they'd go together quite well if this is anything to go by. (don't want to get my hopes up though, because I've got some Alesha tickets :heehee:)

Punching Out sounds really good but yeah I think My Man is better single material. It sounds fantastic in HQ! :D
Punching Out  My Man remains unbearable.

Seriously?! Unbearable?! Wow.

Love the clip of PO too. Cant wait to hear more material.

:heehee: I just don't think anything of it at all. The production especially is super-cheap, like they created the backing track on a keyboard in a store, recorded it on a mobile phone and bluetoothed it to the 1980s where some synths previously homed on the cutting room floor decided to leech themselves to it.

LOL! :heehee:

I'm wondering what caused this single change now.

Only two weeks ago I had her PR person telling me about the single release date etc. All seems to have happened really fast

LOL!! You sure have a way with words

Ah it's alright

Who's dealing with Jade's PR? I'm sure they've given her a good team, especially with this all happening so fast. Can't believe the album will be out 2 months tomorrow :o
Popjustice say Punching Out is the title of the album. Hopefully it will be 2nd single.
sounds like it will be a single. It's definitely good enough going by that clip.

Just got some great info from PR:

My Man release date is now September 14th, album; Punching Out - early 2010.

So PO single I guess will be released ahead of the album around late Jan/early Feb?

Recorded in London, Sweden and LA, the album is set to be one of the albums of 2010. The sizzling title track, also co-written with Wroldsen packs a powerful hook and has already had the remix treatment from one of the finest rhymers in the UK, Bashy. Elsewhere, prepare yourself for the fantastic Wake Up; a ballad with balls, it's the perfect showcase for Jade’s phenomenal vocal. As well as Ina Wroldsen, Jade has also collaborated with the inimitable Diane Warren (Whitney, Christina Aguilera) and producer/writers Quiz & Larossi, who have worked with Kelly Clarkson and The Pussycat Dolls
