Example's Watch The Sun Come Up has been signed by Data records (dance label) and was played on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show last night and has also apparently been championed by Pete Tong and others already in the past week!!!

I'm actually a bit disappointed with the overall quality of the songs in the final though, there are many songs I like but only about 1 or 2 songs that I adore.....as in "OMG :heart: :heart: :heart:"

Same here. I never expect too much, to be honest, but there is always something that I really like. Even if it is just 1 or 2 songs. Last contest I was really happy because I found 2 songs that I really love ("Strawberry Avalanche" & "Once I Was Like You"). This time around I have found one song so far that I really love. I'm not finished listening to all the songs yet though, I will vote soon today.

it was the same with me last contest, there was nothing I'd say was absolutely amazing for me, even my 12 pointer was just 'very good' but five songs this time around fit into the 'amazing' category :wub:

Dalisska has voted, I'm happy with my votes, there were a good few more songs I liked but they weren't strong enough to make it in my top 10.

 

I think my main problem this time around is that there wasn't many songs that set my world alight even though there was a lot of songs I found quite nice. :(

I'm about to send my votes. This time around I made a list of all the songs in the contest in order of preference. There are more than 10 songs I want to vote for, they are not amazing songs for me, but they deserve points. But.. I have to leave songs out :(
