No time to stop. I need my beauty sleep for BRUCIE tomorrow night.

See you all on Thursday.

Yep you were right Jups, got soaked  Here is my review :smoke:

Words cannot describe how amazing it was. As a review said, he is like a fine wine - he is just getting better with age. It was just totally mind blowing. He went on for over 3 hours singing 30 songs without any break at all. I got absolutely soaked with the rain. I have never been so wet in my life. When I woke up the next morning there was a small puddle where I had left the clothes I had worn

He opened with one of my fave songs by one of my all time fave bands – Creedance Clearwater Revival – Who’ll Stop The Rain and then burst into the classic that is Badlands. The highlights for me were Out On The Street, Johnny 99, 7 Nights to Rock, Thunder Road, Because The Night, Waiting On A Sunny Day (Never overly found of this time, but it is amazing live), The River, Lonesome Day, The Rising, Born To Run, Tenth Avenue, American Land, Dancing In The Dark and his amazing version of Twist & Shout. It was just fan-bloody-tastic. Infact it was so brilliant – I went on the Sunday as well  Spend all Sunday morning trying to get a ticket, eventually I got one for face value as well :o And the Sunday was even better. Another marathon 3 hour show, this time with only 29 songs (the cheek  ). It was so worth going the second night as he changed loads of the songs – and sang many of my faves which he missed on Sat including No Surrender, Hungry Heart, Sherry Darling, Radio Nowhere and the amazing 41 Shots (first time he has ever sang it outside the US :o ) , Jungleland and my fave – Glory Days (which was the highlight of the gig for me). Oh and he sang one of my all time faves – Proud Mary which was brill as well. Would’ve loved Mary’s Place and Alantic City though

At one point he jumped from one stage to another, and slipped falling on his arse  So he changed the “earth shaking, Viagra taking, ass breaking ...............E Street Band” part

You are going to have such a great time Jups. I went last year and was at the back. It was amazing but this was on another level, he is defiantly getting better and better and the band are just fantastic. There is a part in the gig where he goes to the crowd and collects the signs with song requests on them – he takes up well over 20 and then holds up options to the crowd and whichever gets the loudest cheer he sings. No other performer could do what he does. He can sing any song, even if he hasn’t sang it in years. Overall, both taken into consideration, quite possiblt the best concerts I have ever seen, and I have been to ALOT of gigs believe me. Never though U2 or Rob could be topped, but this definatly was very strong competition. U2 have alot to live up to when I see them in Croker in a few weeks :smoke:

Glad you had a good time Scotty. Hope you didn't catch a chill out in the rain.

Thanks for the review. :D

I saw Brucie! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

3 hours on stage from 8pm-11pm. And it stayed dry for the whole 3 hours.

But no Glory Days or Because The Night or Hungry Heart

But it was still :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

My full review will follow later in the week. But as I only had about 3 hours sleep last night I'm having an early night tonight.

Here are a couple of crap photos of nothing much just to prove I was there

The crowd before Brucie arrived on stage. The empty seats are because the posh folk had not yet emerged from hospitality. It was a sell out.
