Ahaha, Brit doesn't have two in the top ten.

For this year so far, Lady GaGa has the top two unsurprisingly

Colby O'Donis also has #2 and #12.

Top 10 single chart runs of 2009 so far (with #1 worth 100 instead of 75) are:

1 Lady GaGa - Poker Face [1,773pts] [peak 1]

2 Lady GaGa - Just Dance [1,688pts] [featuring Colby O'Donis and Akon] [peak 1]

3 Kings of Leon - Use Somebody [1,368pts] [peak 3]

4 Jason Mraz - I'm Yours [1,283pts] [peak 11]

5 James Morrison - Broken Strings [1,270pts] [with Nelly Furtado] [peak 2]

6 La Roux - In For The Kill [1,200pts] [peak 2]

7 Lily Allen - The Fear [1,167pts] [peak 1]

8 Beyoncé - Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) [1,151pts] [peak 7]

9 Kings of Leon - Sex On Fire [1,141pts] [peak 11]

10 Beyoncé - Halo [1,078pts] [peak 4]

Only three #1s in the top ten, and amazingly, two songs are in the top ten which have failed to make the official top ten this year so far!

Double entries from Lady GaGa, Kings of Leon and Beyoncé.

Don't spoil it :cheer:

Just do this kind of thread at the end of year :cheer:

I can't believe the #6 doesn't even have 1,000 points...

And the whole top twelve 2009 to date (the ones I posted plus Alesha Dixon - Breathe Slow on 1,035pts and Akon featuring Kardinal Offishall and Colby O'Donis - Beautiful on 1,026pts) are all over 1k already...

Shows how chart runs are changing lol!

Just going to take a quick tea break before revealing the top 5.

Here are the final 5 songs of 1999 yet to be revealed, in alphabetical order. Who will be #1?

Britney Spears - Baby One More Time

Eiffel 65 - Blue (Da Ba Dee)

Shania Twain - That Don't Impress Me Much

Steps - Heartbeat/Tradegy

TLC - No Scrubs

Making a guess based on not knowing their chart runs at all, I'd say:

1 Britney

2 E65

3 Steps

4 TLC

5 Shania

Yeah, I'd say that too

can you do 2000 next?

I was going to do 1998 next. Work my way backwards through the 90's. Then do some of the 00's. But taking your request into consideration, and thinking about it. It would be quite cool to do 99, then 00, 98, then 01 and so on. Gives a nice mix of past and more recent. So will probs try to work on 1998 and 2000 together, and reveal them both in the early august region.

And Supernova, I have no probs with you doing this for 2009. I've seen this type of points thing around here anyway, so if there is any copyright on this anywhere, i've probs broken it anyway, lol. And thanks for your comments throughout the rundown, glad you have enjoyed it.

Thank you :D

Btw, call me B-rye, the Supernova extension is due to my current addiction to the song 'Supernova' by Mr Hudson, sorry for the confusion ;)

Thought Blue Da Ba De was gonna win - shame...

Strangely after seeing the song written down on here again after so many years I decided to fish out the song and am now listening to it in all its cheesy-fied glory... ah they dont write em like that anymore!

Oh this is pretty exciting:p I think Britney will win though. Although IIRC Steps had a pretty mega chart run
