February 6, 201015 yr I really hope Alicia gets her first #1 album, she definitely deserves it. I'm planning on purchasing a copy of her album soon, and does anyone know when the video for Put It In a Love Song is being filmed?
February 7, 201015 yr does she deserves because the album is great or just because she's been for almost a decade and still don't have a #1 album. and also I bought her last album and listened only once-twice :(...and that's why I'm not that bothered to buy the new one.

February 7, 201015 yr Author The album should definately go platinum in sales within the next 2 weeks or maybe even next week (But that maybe asking for a TAD too much)! :D I have a feeling that Andre guy and Peter Andre will be the Top 2 next week (Valentines day etc...) but Alicia does nice lovey songs so maybe people have asked their parteners for it? :lol:

Deserved because the Album is stunningly brilliant. It needs more than 1 or 2 listens to really appreciate and then it just keep growing.

Alicia Keys to duet with Jay-Z at Brits Thursday, February 11 2010, 16:07 GMT By David Balls, Music Reporter Alicia Keys to duet with Jay-Z at Brits Alicia Keys has been confirmed to perform with Jay-Z at the Brit Awards next week. The singer will join Jay-Z on stage to sing 'Empire State Of Mind' at the event, which is held in London on February 16. "Alicia is a fantastic addition to the show. I can't wait to see her and Jay-Z perform one of the biggest songs of the year," Brits Committee chairman Ged Doherty said. Lady GaGa, JLS, Robbie Williams, Chery Cole and Lily Allen have also been confirmed to perform at the ceremony. According to recent reports, Jay-Z's wife Beyoncé will also join Lady GaGa on stage to sing their collaboration 'Telephone'. I'll agree with that. Its currently in my top 3 favourite albums ever. (Christina's Stripped and Bey's I am..... Sasha Fierce being the others :wub: )

February 13, 201015 yr Deserved because the Album is stunningly brilliant. It needs more than 1 or 2 listens to really appreciate and then it just keep growing. I've ordered the album 2 days ago :)...I hope it won't dissapoint me like the last album.
February 13, 201015 yr You know, there were some real gems on "As I Am". It's one of my favourite records of all time. So sensitive, and sincere. Maybe not overly commercial, but "No One", "Teenage Love Affair", "Lesson Learned", "Tell You Something" and of course, the unbelievably epic "Like You'll Never See Me Again" are all some of her best tracks, in my opinion. I don't think it's her best album, but I actually think it's now become somewhat underrated. "Prelude to a Kiss" is also simply gorgeous. The use of drums made this sound like a real old school, soulful R&B record, which may be why I love it so much. But anyway, I'm ecstatic "The Element of Freedom" is doing so well over here in the UK. I'm so proud to see her have a hugely successful era.
