Right, I've now removed DJ Ella and John ME from contention! DJ Ella as FSR Rontvia's entry for XIX sounds too similar for me to get away with entering it, and John ME due to lack of demand...so, henceforth review the three remaining!

LIEVANT // Lisa Morgana / Hmm, 'tis a tad subtle methinks. Nice and brooding track, but I don't think it would really do much in the BJSC...could end up DNQ'ing unfortunately :(

RaVaughn / Now THIS is more like it :o This sounds very Kristinia DeBarge actually...I would definitely go with this, it sounds like a surefire top ten if not a winner!

Alice Svensson / This is very 'Walk Like Me', Dalisska entry for XVII which came just outside the top ten...it's quite nice but I don't think it would do amazingly well.

DEFINITELY RaVaughn. If you don't send it I will :o

Ok, thanks for reviewing them! ^_^

KYLIENIPS // Mr Hudson / There Will Be Tears / I can't see this one doing much...it's nice, but again seems a bit too subtle to really do anything. I could see people saying that this one 'doesn't go anywhere' or comments of that nature. Would probably DNQ...

White Lies / This one's a LOT better. A stronger backing track, and generally more punchy instrumentation. Lovely arrangement :o  The chorus does sound like it could really split opinion though...I reckon this one could easily qualify, but I've no idea how it would do in the final.

Twiggy Frostbite / Again, sounds too subtle to really do well. Her voice isn't really up to much either, she sounds like she has cotton balls in her cheeks or something  Don't think this would qualify, it's quite forgettable...

Nerina Pallot / This sounds VERY Natasha Bedingfield actually! I don't think this would so as well as HDIBSAB did, but then again I didn't think that would do as well as it did either! The song itself sounds like Mika's duller moments on his debut album (i.e. not a million miles away from My Interpretation), but it really does vary throughout the song (i.e. the part from 1:30 onwards is really quite good :o). This one would be quite a risk but it could pay off big...

I reckon either Nerina or Mr Hudson - White Lies then :funky:

Thanks, I'm leaning towards Nerina at the moment, it gets quite punchy mid way, White Lies will just split the voting, but still rather good

Opinions on these please ^_^:

Brooke Hogan Feat. Flo Rida - Ruff Me Up

Brooke Hogan Feat. Colby O'Donis - Hey Yo!

1-Alcazar sounds too-dated...it would have been perfect 2 or 3 contests ago and I doubt will be contender for a win...low top 10 at the best.

2-Dj Ella---amazing nd up-to-date :P...something that I would sent myself...which means this won't win :heehee:

3-Yenn---another gorgeous song and my only hope for this one is to be entered before Jan 2010

4-Milke Snow---sounds alright...might be a grower but I can't see this one doing wonders and mainly bring you 4th after DSQ

5-John Me---:puke: seriosly I don't have nothing to say about this one.

this is for you Tron :P

Alcazar:

Ooh, I like this. Sounds very poppy but at the same time you want to dance to it. I don't agree that it sounds dated. The only down point about it is that guy's voice gives me the creeps :kink:. 7/10

YENN:

This is also very pop-sounding. I like this one more than the other two. I don't know what about it but it's a great choice ;). 8/10

Miike Snow:

I like the fact that you've got to wait for it to really kick in, but I don't really like the guy that's signing's voice :P. 5.5/10

Thank you Addy! :w00t:

1, I find Alacazar bit of a risk, I always see them as a very camp band

2, Not exactly my cup of tea, it could end up DNQ

3, Now this is really good and catchy, I quite like it got potential to be top 10 in the final

4. This falls into my bracket music wise, which has got potential and a grower and could do very well in the final.

5. This could end up DNQ, its ok-ish but I think its nothing special.

Here are my contenders 3 acts, but 4 tracks in total.

1. Mr. Hudson - There will Be Tears

2. Mr. Hudson - White Lies

3. Twiggy Frostbite - Heroes

4. Nerina Pallot - Real Late Starter

I like "Heroes", I was thinking of entering it myself.

KYLIENIPS // Mr Hudson / There Will Be Tears / I can't see this one doing much...it's nice, but again seems a bit too subtle to really do anything. I could see people saying that this one 'doesn't go anywhere' or comments of that nature. Would probably DNQ...

oi, My Interpretation was my favourite non-single on Mika's album :P and better than some fo the singles for me too

My national final is open in my thread now, please check it out :)

not attempting to sway your decision of course but I couldn't resist it;

I also sent a rather wordy e-mail to Alcazar's management begging them to find some way to release Stay The Night here and ignore any thoughts of releasing Burning :heehee:

I've now added Bananarama as our 6th potential entrants! Could people please review Bananarama if they've already reviewed the rest of my tracks? ^_^

Alcazar - Stunning. For sure will put Kopecka back on Ashton's points radar quite firmly. After all Kaci can only do so much. :kink:

Yenn - would have been the perfect follow on from La Roux. I quite like it.

Miike Snow - wtf is this? Would you like a third DNQ? It might get the indie vote, but failing a very indie semi like the one poor Cilmi and Nevio were in i can see this failing.

Bananarama - Christ everyone is going Electopop nowadays. It's alright, Alcazar and Yenn are better imo.

Ok, now you can return the favour :kink:

6. Really like this, I think it could get top 10 if you enter it, though it might stall a bit.

9th-13th

Also, YENN has grown on me hugely, favourite of mine now next to Alcazar, I think it could go top 3 now.

I just had to listen to Bananarama, actually this could get you a suitable position in the final, but if you want to win, this track has got buckleys in doing it.
