Posted July 22, 200915 yr Hmm... well two vile songs and one song (Tereza something) ruined by some vile remix - all were going to fail really so this doesn't come as a tremendous shock. Full story from ESC Today: Mrs. Kateřina Fričová, program director of the Czech public television CT, has declared today that the central European nation will leave the Eurovision Song Contest after a three-year stay. The main reason to stop the country's participation that Mrs. Kateřina Fričová mentioned was the lack of interest from the Czech public after three failed attempts. The CT official also referred to the success that the 2009 Eurovision gathered in neighbouring Slovakia. She admitted that she has no idea why the contest was so successful in the neighbor country, but she added that her colleagues from STV claim that the program offer of Czech television is richer. The Czech republic debuted in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, being represented by Kabát and Malá dama. The year after, Tereza Kerndlová took the Belgrade stage with the song Have some fun, followed this year by Gypsy.cz and Aven romale. None of them reached the qualification from the semifinals.
July 22, 200915 yr in all fairness, their track this yeah was one of the worst things i have ever heard
July 22, 200915 yr brutal but honest  Have Some Fun was excellent in it's original form...but the ESC remix was atrocious, too fast and weird unnecessary instrumentation seemingly thrown in to appeal to the Eastern countries
July 22, 200915 yr its the kind of guy i am tbh. No point i sayin sumthin that ain't truthful or sugar coatin it.

TBH it was technically just another flop Belgian entry... :nocheer:
July 22, 200915 yr Oh no, where will i watch the eurovision? But at least we won't have another disgusting entries like Kabát and Gipsy.cz.
July 23, 200915 yr I hope not... Andorra and Belgium must stay :( Andorra is one of my favorite countries :o
July 23, 200915 yr They're amaze  But have never qualified once :( Belgium have kind of sucked for the last couple of years, but they are a proper old-school Eurovision country. The only way I would accept leaving would be if Italy comes back
July 25, 200915 yr I really liked Kabat in 2007, and at first liked Aven Romale but then i was like 'WTF?! ' I'm indifferent about this country in ESC tbh so they might go if they want. No go for Belgium and Andorra please though. :(
August 27, 200915 yr Maybe if they send in a better song there would be more interest in this contest!
