Well i suppose a thread about them was bound to turn up at some point. Anyone who read the topic regarding them in the Saturdays Forum (/shameless promo) will know my opinion of them and this p*** poor excuse of a song.

Absolutely awful! Hopefully they'll disappear soon.

They seem cool and the song is decent... but they can't sing.

In complete honesty, I recall me and RyRy having a discussion about Dolly Rockers and how we disliked their songs prior to them mentioning The Sats at all. The fact they did that just further fueled the dislike. :P

I never thought much of Gold Digger, but they do have EXCELLENT personalities, and Je Suis Une Dolly is so awful it's possibly the best song this year...but come on, it's no coincidence that all Saturdays fans despise the Dollys :P

I like this track, it sounds good but I doubt these girls are that talented at singing. And that doesn't come from The Saturdays fan. :P

Exactly. This has nothing to do with The Sats (visit the forum!) at all. Several acts that i like have slagged each other off in the past and i've managed to like both artists, La Roux for example slagged The Sats off, didnt stop me buying the album.

Ehhh they sound like a mix of Lady Sovereign and Girls Aloud. I like Girls Aloud. I like Lady Sovereign. I don't like this.

 

It's just a bit... rubbish? They may have 'great personalities' but I don't think the public will warm to another group, especially one that sound and act like a group of chavs. I wouldn't describe myself as a Saturdays fan either, I just don't think the're as great as they're being made out to be.

 

I'm not that excited about any of the 2009 offerings of new girl groups; these/GCC/Mini Viva so far. Girls Can't Catch have the most potential though, in time I reckon "Keep Your Head Up" could grow to be better than everything but "Up" by the Saturdays but I still say the Sats could have easily churned it out. This said, I think all three have released better tracks than "If This Is Love" to start with, so there's still some hope for them all.
