Posted August 2, 200916 yr :drama: Hi, I remember posting my latest personal chart before all the upgrades happened and now that BJ is back online it's vanished. I don't know if this is a side effect from the server downtime or if a mod deleted my topic but can someone please get it back? :o Because I don't know how to get it back and I don't remember my chart at all so it's very important that I get it back and I don't keep archives etc so it's gonna cause absolute chaos for me to my next chart. Thank you.

And sorry to be more buggy but could someone please copy and paste Phil's announcement for me because no matter what forum I go to and click on it, because its the same announcement link at the top of every forum, it says "Page not found". .so I don't really know what it says. August 2, 200916 yr Firstly apologies for the downtime over the last few days, we have had 6 months of uptime and work hard to ensure BuzzJack remains online at all times. Below details what we where looking to achieve with the upgrade and issues faced: Wednesday: We upgraded the server to a 64bit operating system Wednesday night to allow much better utilisation of RAM. This meant the server had to be reformatted and the database reuploaded. Thursday: The tech we hired to install the main components of the server installed our firewall incorrectly as well as other issues which had to be fixed during the course of the day. After 5 hours of importing the BuzzJack database I restarted the server due to high loads and systems failings. Remaining database tables where added and indexes rebuilt. Friday: Forum put online with all but 1 index rebuilt (the remaining index was critical for efficient searching). Friday evening this remaining index was rebuilt and finished at 12pm Saturday. Saturday: With all indexes rebuilt I went to 'Optimise' the main post table, again this was stopped after 5 hours and the server was restarted. The stopping of this process corrupted the post table which was beyond repaid. The Wednesday backup was again added back and left to import and rebuild over night. Sunday: After 12 hours the import and index rebuild completed and the server was put online at 12:50pm. I would again like to apologies for the downtime and loss of Fridays posts. This was a one off upgrade and lessons have been learned about the length of time to expect when adding a database of BuzzJack's size. Contact me if you have any issues or concerns. Thanks, PhilÂ

August 2, 200916 yr Hey, yeah I have all charts posted last week up until 11:30pm on Friday night. Definitely have yours Kath, and Theo I have yours too though I was under the impression you posted yours before Friday but could be wrong! I can PM them to you if you want? I'm just sorting out this week's multichart and then I'll be on it - I'll make an announcement in the Personal Charts forum ^_^
