What promo have Sugas got, I'm really pleased its top 10, was expecting it to hit about 13.

So new song? Get Sexy Part 2, but without the random genre hopping and Right Said Fred lyrics. Instead we've got shout outs to Louis Vuitton, sugar like apple pie and partying like woohoohoo - lyrics that don't mean anything much at all. As she's already proven on that horribly low-rent Eurovision show (which we, of course, loved), Jade Ewen has a great technical voice, but in terms of the pure soul and emotion of Keisha's smoky tone, there is simply no comparison.

 

On the plus side it's a more cohesive effort than Get Sexy, sounding a bit like Calvin Harris' I'm Not Alone, it's highly polished, tightly paced, synthy dance pop. And comes complete with a bongo drive middle 8 (better than it sounds) including a great back and forth between Amelle and teentoday.co.uk (and surely everyone's) current favourite Heidi. Coming in at just over 3 mins it also doesn't outstay its welcome, over before it's begun, you'd best get used to hitting play again. It's aching for some dirty remixes which could elevate it to another level, or might just turn it into a 9minute soul destroyer.

Nearly at #5 now on iTunes, which will knock Cheryl down to #6. N-Dubz aren't far behind, but the Sugas have another entry lower down the chart anyway. Next stop Ke$ha. :D

I think they can get above Ke$ha after the promo starts kicking in. If JLS carry on slipping like they are, then I think Sugas have a really good chance of top 3.

They are performing AAG and a cover tomorrow - still not confirmed what cover it is.

I agree, I really am hoping and praying for #5, #6 is just a plain slap in the face for a song that good and it also gives you the impression their 3rd single would most likely miss the top 10.

not happy. i do love Brit & Ndubz but AAG is in another league compared to their latest offerings!

Britneys song is awful it really is, hopefully the babes will bounce back, they must all be pretty close.

I think with their other versions combined they might actually be still ahead of both Britney and N-Dubz? :unsure:
