August 26, 200915 yr I know it's subjective at the end of the day, but some of my personal favorites are not here; "Deeper And Deeper", "The Power Of Goodbye", "Substitute For Love", "Human Nature", "Rain". The 80s are fully covered but the 90s are skimmed over briefly. Dissapointing. I agree, but at least they are on the DVD

The 80s are fully covered but the 90s are skimmed over briefly. Dissapointing. Agree completely!!!! does any casual listener even know of Burning Up or Everybody for example? Cos i dont...and i even love Madonna! So unnecessary to include them as they were hardly big hits!
August 27, 200915 yr Burning Up and Everybody are amazing though, even from the beginning, you know that Madonna was something totally different... Anyway, the DVD tracklist is amazing
August 27, 200915 yr I'm also surprised she missed Nothing Really Matters off the DVD list. Sure the track itself wasn't one of her signature hits or anything, but I always thought the video was pretty popular?
August 27, 200915 yr Nothing really matters is one of my favs but it was a big flop in America so thats prob why they didnt include it, i wish they did though
August 28, 200915 yr Burning Up and Everybody are amazing though, even from the beginning, you know that Madonna was something totally different... Anyway, the DVD tracklist is amazing  The DVD track listing is brilliant, but the 2CD might not be worth it :o
September 1, 200915 yr You can pre-order the album on iTunes. Cover art as changed. http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/8968/celebrationedit.gif It has the same tracklisting as posted before.
September 1, 200915 yr Yeah I thought we might see the release of the original American Life video but I guess it'll never come out now which is a shame. I'd rather not have it on there at all though than have the crappy released version lol. What exactly is the story behind the American Life video? Something to do with the war on Iraq?
September 1, 200915 yr Author You can order both editions of the GH on itunes The 2CD comes with the Remix from the video and a new track called "Its So Cool" which is a demo from American Life That's been reworked by Paul. Of course it comes with Celebration and Revolver aswell.
September 1, 200915 yr Why bother releasing the 1cd version????? IT's almost criminal to exclude so many great tracks -_-
September 2, 200915 yr What about a "Something To Remember 2" in the future? - The Power Of Goodbye - To Have Not Hold - Time Stood Still - You Must Love Me - Gone - Paradise (Not for me) - I Deserve It - Nothing Fails - X-Static Process - Forbidden Love - Voices ... and so on

Much classier  Will It's So Cool be on any physical release? Like the Japanese release or something?
September 2, 200915 yr I'm quite glad about the inclusions of 'Burning Up' and 'Everybody', they're both HUGELY underrated and deserve recognition, so this is a good way of getting it. 'Burning Up' in particular is amazing.
September 2, 200915 yr What exactly is the story behind the American Life video? Something to do with the war on Iraq? Yeah, it was made just before the war began and was released just after which was incredibly bad timing as obviously everyone was very sensitive at that time. This is from wiki: Madonna issued a statement: "I feel lucky to be an American citizen for many reasons - one of which is the right to express myself freely, especially in my work. I understand that there have been reports about my upcoming video "American Life" in the media - much of which is inaccurate. I am not Anti-Bush. I am not pro-Iraq. I am pro Peace. I have written a song and created a video which expresses my feelings about our culture and values and the illusions of what many people believe is the American dream - the perfect life. As an artist, I hope that this provokes thought and dialogue. I don't expect everyone to agree with my point of view. I am grateful to have the freedom to express these feelings and that's how I honor my country".[5]Due to the political climate of the country at the time, most notably the backlash on the Dixie Chicks after they made some anti-war comments, Madonna later changed her mind on that "freedom of speech". On April 1, 2003 one day after the video was first shown on a few European and Latin American music channels, and on a prime time special on the Nine Network in Australia, Madonna pulled the video and released a statement explaining why: "I have decided not to release my new video. It was filmed before the war started and I do not believe it is appropriate to air it at this time. Due to the volatile state of the world and out of sensitivity and respect to the armed forces, who I support and pray for, I do not want to risk offending anyone who might misinterpret the meaning of this video."
