they will be, Sweden's hotels won't be expensive but the place itself (food, drink, anything basically) is RIDICULOUSLY expensive, it was the equivalent of £2 for a Mars bar  don't know how Norway compares but it can't be far off

Norway is a little bit more expensive

0,5L of cola costs from 1,7 Euro to 3 Euro, I don't know about Mars bar, couse I don't know what it costs, but let us just say Norwegians go to Sweden to by cheaper food... :o

Sweden have kroner though don't they, do you have to go to the effort of getting your money exchanged :kink:

from what you're saying it seems like a bottle of cola costs at least three times more in Norway than it does here :drama:

In Sweden they use Swedish Kroner, in Norway we use Norwegian kroner :)

they accept Norwegian kroner along the borders :) and I did actually use NOK in Karlstad, inland of Sweden :P

100 NOK = 118,23 SEK :)

So NOK is worth more :kink:

No

Norway is not even in EU  Poland, Czech Rep., Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and UK is the countries in EU who do not use Euros :)

wow, I'm showing how bad my political knowledge is now :kink:

I only knew Sweden and Poland don't use Euros, because my class had a trip to Poland and I only had Euros

+ some countries like Denmark use both I think :???:

Only Norway and Switzerland is not in EU in Europe, Iceland have just asked to join... I don't think Russia will join EU for a long time either :P

MF tickets go on sale 19 October... I blantatly won't be able to afford them then :(
ESC is in the last week of May next year

I would love to go to both actually but it would set me back more than a grand I reckon :o would be worth it though

*coughs tea all computer*

£1,000?! Really?

I never thought of Norway being that expensive! Dyou reckon we could just host ESC in 2011? I'm sure it would be much eaier for everyone :P

of course, we just need to win in 2010 first :heehee: seems a little less impossible a thought than this time last year :o Norway went 5-1 after all with Maria-Alexander!

I meant it might cost a grand to go to both MF and ESC, wouldn't cost that much to go to just one of them, depends if you were staying for a day or two or for a week
