Weinstein tipped for Gorillaz movie

 

Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein is reportedly in talks with Blur frontman Damon Albarn to produce a Gorillaz movie, which will star the animated band.

 

 

According to contactmusic.com, the former Miramax chief visited Albarn and the co-Gorillaz creator and artist Jamie Hewlett to discuss the film.

 

 

Albarn said, "We're going to try and do something which makes the world not just think of 'Wallace and Gromit' when they think of animation."
