Good win for Blackpool. Really don't know whether it's a good thing for them in the long term? They're certainly not ready for the Premier League by a long shot. Have that funny feeling they'll suffer Burnley syndrome, only worse.

It can only be a good thing. £40m+ next year and four years of £12m in parachute payments if they get relegated. Like Burnley this year, it doesn't matter as it'll make them financially secure for a long while yet.

I get a feeling they'll be more Burnley than Hull, they'll know their limits and won't overspend, either on fees or wages, and if it's not good enough to stay up they'll be in a strong enough position to challenge for promotion again.

Millwall up, tomorrow we see the last remaining play off final and the end of the league campaign for this season.

I am hoping for a Rotherham win there.

I've just got back from Wembley via the M4.

I heard rumours that the Wembley turf won the Man Of The Match Award for Millwall. :nocheer:

I'm gutted for my hometown, and for Charlie Austin. If the pitch was half decent he would have scored that equalizer no question.

I too, was hoping they would win. My aunt used to live in a place near there.

Dagenham & Redbridge made it through in the other play off final.

I have been thinking of a few things to discuss on football, especially now the league season is over.

Examples: -

Footballers' contracts? Do they have a right to leave in the midst of a contract e.g. Fabregas saga? Should there be get out clauses?

Football clubs going into administration? Should the players help by taking in lower wages?

Just some ideas that have occurred to me now the season is over.

On wages, players should accept a clause in their contract which means a pay cut if the team are relegated. Too many clubs have struggled because they couldn't afford to pay their players following relegation.

Do players have the right to leave mid-contract? Most people do so why should footballers be any different?

Most players do, it's just that some clubs are too stupid and think they're far too good and big to go down (West Ham and Newcastle) that they don't think to put them in the contracts in the first place.

Those Yank vermin best leave the club asap. :puke2:

Liverpool FC is well and truly f***ed. No idea what we're going to do. Honestly so angry at the owners.
