August 18, 200915 yr What pre-release chart are Sugababes No 1 on?! http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=98189 - scroll down to top pre-orders for singles, they're in the end of the first post. :)
August 19, 200915 yr Wont some of these be released to download a week earlier than stated here though?? Hard to predict until we know this for sure...
August 19, 200915 yr Dizzee will be released this Monday on downloads - physical on the 31st. Sugas are releasing downloads on 30th and physical 31st.
August 19, 200915 yr I think She Wolf will be huge. Since Pixie's new single EP has been available to pre-order on iTunes, it's been floating around the top 50 evey day - surely just another sign of possible success.
August 19, 200915 yr what a great way to end the year and the decade with one-week number ones! hmm funny that we started this decade in 2000 with just that! i think Sugababes, Shakira and Madonna will get to number one. Lady GaGa and Pixie Lott defo top 5, but its so hard to predict!
August 19, 200915 yr I think She Wolf will be an unexpected #1. As for Jay-Z, Sugas and Dizzee, they're almost guarenteed #1. & tbh, Love Game is getting a massive amount of hype atm so I think it'll do better than expected.. same with Pixie :D.
August 19, 200915 yr As for Jay-Z, Sugas and Dizzee, they're almost guarenteed #1. Jay-Z with 'Run This Town'? But how can both Jay-Z and Sugababes get to #1 when they are released on the same week and the next week there is even more competition?
August 19, 200915 yr Jay-Z with 'Run This Town'? But how can both Jay-Z and Sugababes get to #1 when they are released on the same week and the next week there is even more competition? I get a feeling that Jay-Z will stall in the top 10 for a while and eventually get to #1. Just have a funny feeling.
August 19, 200915 yr I actually think it could be possible for Dizzee to go to #1 for two weeks and then get overtaken by Jay-Z in his second week. However, I don't think the Sugababes have a chance.
August 19, 200915 yr We'll wait and see then. Nobody clearly knows who will own the best cards in their hands. Even Dizzee might not get #1 with 'Holiday' and all of us overestimate the hype about it.
August 19, 200915 yr I think Holiday should have been released at the beginning of August - it would have been number 1 for 2/3 weeks. Now there is too much competition. The only real contenders for #1 in September are Dizzee, Sugababes, Mika, Madonna, Shakira & Eva Simons.
August 19, 200915 yr The only real contenders for #1 in September are ... & Eva Simons. I'm sorry, but I think it's pretty deluded to think Eva has a chance any more.
August 19, 200915 yr I'm sorry, but I think it's pretty deluded to think Eva has a chance any more. Agreed.
August 20, 200915 yr David Guetta at number one this week Dizzee/Calvin and Chrome number one next week Sugababes or Dizzee Rascal for the following week Mika is an obvious choice for next number one I woul dlike to see Madge orMini Viva or even Muse get a numbe rone but I think everyone who said about the one week number ones is true, it'sgoing tobe an interesting few months......
August 20, 200915 yr I hope that Mika will 'flop': Top5-Top10. IMO, his new song is good, but it is not #1 material and he doesn't deserve it because of just his name (as well as Madonna's 'Celebration' by the way).
August 20, 200915 yr The only dead-cert that I can see is Robbie Williams' effort. From what else is released the same week - there doesn't seem to be any competition. He may only get the one week though (before I saw what was being released in following weeks - I feared he'd be at number 1 for about four weeks). If I'm being truly honest - I'd love it to suffer minor 'ploppage' - but it'll be a number 1 for sure .... not a number 2. Norma Edited August 20, 200915 yr by Norma_Snockers
