September 20, 200915 yr This is so odd! Forum by forum has a totally different attitude.. people here are underwhelmed, Popjustice (usually hard to impress) are loving it, UKMIX is a bit more split but largely positive, with people saying video of the year/ best video in ages... very interesting! I'm in the latter camp, I literally don't know what she could have done better, it's superb! Her movement, her attitude, the sunts, I love it! And it's the emergence of our latest big popstar IMO!
September 20, 200915 yr Of course it will go to #1 Jonie. I can't see why people are saying it won't. And if I'm wrong you can quote me on this.Agreed! I'm quite baffled as to why people are saying it won't too! Instant number 1 to me. I still love the song and the video does the job well!
September 21, 200915 yr Agreed! I'm quite baffled as to why people are saying it won't too! Because it gets against Robbie?
September 21, 200915 yr I did think Alex would have the number one in the bag, despite initially not liking the song (I actually quite like it now.) However, what is her promotion schedule like? I'm pretty sure Rob's doing his X-Factor performance immediately prior to his release ... and despite his song being, whilst not exactly bad but just a little bit 'meh' it seems the timings of his promotion(s) is/are far better than Alex's. Is she performing the same week as Rob ... because if she leaves it until the week after .... then she's left it too late. I do think Simon Cowell is being rather half-arsed over Alex! Norma
September 21, 200915 yr I imagine one will perform on Saturday and one on Sunday. If she's to stand a fighting chance ... I hope it is so! She may just do it. I don't think her song is great but neither is Rob's so there's no reason musically why they shouldn't be on an even keel. Rob does have loads of people though, who've been waiting three years for his effort. I'm not one of them I hasten to add! But you knew that didn't you? Norma
September 21, 200915 yr Definitely I can't see Cowell not having her on one of the two nights. Alex is his priority - well should be lol - so I imagine she will perform on the Sunday. Is Robbie mentoring or just performing?
September 21, 200915 yr Alex confirmed in a radio interview she'll be back on one of the live shows. I'd be surprised if Robbie was on the same weekend when he's competing against her. Edited September 21, 200915 yr by Rain
September 21, 200915 yr Maybe Alex on both nights one with Flo Rida and one without and Robbie also on results night.

Is Robbie mentoring or just performing? I've no idea to be honest ... I've read somewhere that he'll be performing song(s) ... plural!!!!! From his new album so its going to be an album push as well as a single push. I did always think the 'mentoring' bits came in a little later in the live finals stages ... so maybe he'll appear again later on in the auditions. Norma

Norma Oo well if its songs I guess he might appear the weekend of his album launch then, and probably both weeks. Actually it'll probably be a Robbie themed week :heehee:

I'm one of those that prefers the hilarious audition stages that have just passed and the boot camp. The live finals for me are boring. So ... I can watch SCD without feeling I'm missing anything. September 22, 200915 yr Ug-lay :puke2: Not Alex, just the sleeve. It almost makes Cheryl's look good.
