It's growing on me rapidly now. I don't dislike Flo's part but I think I'll prefer the Floss-free edit.

I keep trying to let it grow more on me but I dont think i'm going to like it anymore than I already do. This ain't gonna be a love-in :(

As for this song I think it is great. It is the type of song that will do amazing in clubs, adding Flo Rida onto this song is also a great idea as it will appeal to chavs and the contemporary urban fans. This song is going to be a massive hit. JLS and Alexandra have came out with the exact material their voters on X Factor were expecting. If you look at the number one singles this year they are all similar to this song so why wouldn't they go with this as a first single.

 

I am also sick of the moans about Flo Rida as simply due to the fact he is not a female that appeals to a gay audience he gets a bad rap on here. If you listened to his first two albums you would realise how good they are.

Really liking this. Listened twice now and i can definatly see it continuing to grow on me. It will also clearly do well for her now aswell.

 

The only issue i have now is that after listsening to the Chris Moyles show i cant get the lyric Spinning Marmite out of my head.

I'm sure I don't need to say the chorus is the best part.

I'm quite sure that the reason some people are underwhelmed is not because it isn't a ballad. JamesP for example much prefers uptempos as a rule. He just doesn't like THIS uptempo. How DULL it would be if every single person on the planet loved 'Bad Boys', though I'm sure that'd suit you down to a TEE.

Well this is quite possibly one of the gayest songs I've heard in some time.

 

I actually thinking putting Flo Rida on there was a good decision, his rap adds something to an otherwise repetitive and potentially grating song. I'm loving the alphabet line that Popjustice picked out.

 

It could go either way for me and grow or just get irritating. I know she's gone down this route to draw away from Leona comparisons but I can't see it being anywhere near as big as "Bleeding Love". I'd like to think Leona's comeback would have been a smash single, regardless of who was singing it, I don't feel that about "Bad Boys". Wouldn't be surprised if it went to #1 and didn't stick around for long.

I agree with what others have said though - the chorus feels completely different to the verses. I love the beat on the verses and then the chorus starts and it turns in to a happy cheery song.

I don't know who JamesP is. This forum has been the only one that is majorly negative towards this song you can read back to see everyone was moaning that Flo Rida was on the song before it was even released. I happen to think Flo Ridas second album is pretty good with some decent pop songs.

The first Flo Rida album is a great album tracks like Low, Elevator, American Superstar, In The Ayer are all huge hits on the urban club scene. The second album is more contemporary but is still good.
