I think that's bound to be it for me this month, haven't really been thinking about BJSC and have no idea what to send. I heard part of an intro of a song I thought was my next entry, but it features a rapper (:() and has a slightly underwhelming chorus. (:() Plus it'd do better if the average participant was in their early teens. So basically, I have nothing.

And La Roux doesn't count as really being on the release schedule, she wasn't on it when I confirmed and she was a limited 7" release when I won :snif:

I wasn't thinking of La Roux, moreso all of the recent winners bar Kesha (who wasn't on the release schedule at the time) and the two relative unknown winners from yours truly :kink:

the chance of Not A Love Song or Robots In Love being released here are extremely slim to none...:( the fact that Simon LeBon features on BSM's new single however makes me wonder if they have any links to a British record company :unsure:

It's very interesting because some number of former releases got through, like Rabbit Heart for example. :unsure:

maybe people liked the new radio mix so much that the demo suddenly seemed like the worst thing ever :lol:

I think the reason it did so well at the nominations stage was because people couldn't be bothered to go back at listen to XI so just voted for what they knew the majority of the time...when it came to comparing it to songs they knew however, and songs that weren't cheap that might have had a lack of appreciation at the time, it stood no chance :( Especially with 31 in each semi!

I was gutted to see it come so low though, I almost wish it hadn't been released so it could have retained its status as 'BJSC classic' because it really was so far ahead of its release :lol:

Well, it was a BJSC classic, but it suffered a little from being in the strongest semi-final ever composed :P
