Okay, so we all know that there is a S8 of Buffy in Comic World but now Fox have added a trailer for the adaptation of the comic books to the Bones S4 DVD as seen Here

Rumour has it that it could be the animated version of Buffy which was set to studio executives but was never picked up.

 

What do you think? Would you like to see an Animated version of Buffy based on the comics? Do you read the comics?

Its not Joss thats making the movie its the guy (cant remember his name) who originally directed the Buffy The Vampire Slayer movie.

I know the original pilot for the animated series had some people from the original series and thats the way it should be! Hopefully Alyson Hannigan can still be on it :wub: SMG is going to be too busy with her child

David's mrs is about to give birth and he's got Bones, so i dont know if he'd find the time to do it either tbh.

Grami do you not read the Comics? I have read the first one and whilst its a bit hard to follow it still keeps everything we love from the original series :wub:

Yes I do read the comics :P I think they'd be great in animated form as they're a lot more fantasy based than the series ever was.

Twilight is the big masked villain of the 'series'. Their identity is unknown but there's all these hints in the issues and from the writers that it's somebody Buffy knows so there is huge debate about who it could be!

I just love everything about Buffy. The DVDs are not enough to quench my thirst. I have even brought lots of unofficial books now which are just as good <3

And i dont think my local library have it :( They dont believe in books with pictures in them I SWEAR.

FanFic I cannot abide! :lol: It just rapes the beauty of the original movie/show/book whatever. I mean the last chapter of the final Harry Potter book made me shudder as it felt like something some crazy girl from an online fandom would write!

 

I do use inspiration from Buffy and such to create my own stuff though. Need it for uni lol.

Lol, i know my cousin used Buffy as an example in her desertation of Powerful Female Roles in Society lol apparently it kicked ass... (Well it had Buffy in it so what could one expect?)

Yeah she took Sociology when she was at Uni. Luckily for me, ive finished with that subject before its too late :P

What's wrong with Sociology? :o I really enjoyed it at college. Wouldn't pursue it further but it was a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. Especially learning about people who are born with the wrong parts or bits of both. :heehee:

I love Buffy so much, my favorite show of all time but I don't really want to see a cartoon version. I'm all for a season 8 with the original cast though or even a movie with them in.
