Pulp get reissued

Classic Britpop trilogy re-released with bonus CD

Three classic Pulp albums are set to be reissued, each with a host of extra tracks.

1994's 'His 'N' Hers' , 1995's massive commercial breakthrough 'Different Class' and 1998's 'This Is Hardcore' will all be reissued, each with a bonus disc of B-sides, demos and rarities.

The albums will be available in expanded form from August 21, with full details of the bonus disc material to be confirmed shortly.

Yeah, but I'll be very surprised if the bonus discs actually have anything good on them. Don't you already own these albums anyway?

It's just another exercise by Island to exploit the Pulp back catalogue now the band are gone.

dont just think it due to it being pulp every major bands gonna get the deluxe treatment, some times catalogue is only what keeping some firms a float!!!

Well, they should be choosier about which johnny-come-lately-no-chance-of-recouping-the-advance bands they sign. I blame the A & R men!

Yeah, Beck's Odelay is being repackaged as a "10th anniversary special" later this year.

I was a massive Pulp fan back in the day, and I regard His N Hers a classic. I will buy them if I dont already have the B sides and rarities (I have pretty much eveything they released anyway).

think its also due to lots of cat going for next to nothing in the original versions...

is stone roses back in the charts again?

Well, why are they selling them into the shops so cheaply?

It's just money for old rope - even the London Calling 25th anniversary special wasn't that special. Some interesting demos, but not really worth what I paid for it.

Probably just the b-sides from the time, mind you there were all ace.

His n Hers is much, much better than Different Class I think.

I totally agree. His n Hers is, for me, Pulps creative peak.

The B sides from that era are immense - Street Lites, Your Sister's Clothes, Seconds...
