no, as long as they are in the contest one way or the other I'm not bothered, they don't have to be representing Rontvia! You'd better send them though, if you choose something else when I've already confirmed a different song then I shall be quite upset :heehee:

 

I have two other songs, so I guess I'll pick one of those instead! I expect the artist we're fighting over is a surefire top ten though, it's very very very catchy! :wub:

I still personally think Hendinia & Zechonia, especially the latter, are the biggest dark horses.

You seem to be forgetting that there's not only pure pop lovers in this contest and some people don't like this genre all the time. That's why I'd say.

I'm saying that the flops that i've had weren't expected and i wasn't expecting them to be so big. Like Nevio/Cilmi DNQing, i thought that would at least qualify.

send an electro/pop female artist/group, if you don't want to go to the level of Lorikeet then go for a male and ONLY THEN go with a foreign language song. The inevitable flop, especially with an obscure/not that popular artist.

my entries often surprise me...

 

I expected Delta, Natasha, Sibel, Mira, Vincent and Hafdis to do better than they did, particularly Delta and Mira

 

I expected Sara, Maria and Mira, Sanna, The Sound of Arrows, Uh Huh Her, Emiliana Torrini and Blank feat Young Ivy to do a lot worse than they did and was very very pleased with the finishing positions of all of these

 

Andreas Johnson, Untouched, Thermostatic, Pixie, Beautiful Small Machines and Example all did about as well as expected...when I heard Robots In Love for the first time it struck me as a 'winning song' so I'm glad it lived up to my very high expectation for it :heehee:

Please, Shakira is like one of the most famous personalities in the whole world, no way it'd have flopped anyway, i knew it'd do well, i just always doubt in my entries' potential. It's my cheapest and my least favourite entry (yes :( ) to-date. I regret i'd sent it.

I was hoping Cilmi's english would make up for the italian male given that she'd finished top10 twice for Ashton before :heehee:

 

I knew it'd be a massive risk sending it, but i was soooooo close to qualifying. It made DNQing hurt that little bit more

 

 

We've got our own little plans and routes. We made the choice to switch from known names to unknowns, and we aren't going back just for results sake. Eventually i'll come across a formula that works again. IV-XI i got the formula spot on everytime apart from X. So we'll just see where i finish this time and next.

Anyone liking the album version of Here We Go Again or is it just me? :dance: It's a bit nicer, fresh sound compared to the demo we're all used to hearing.

yes I do, but I prefer the album version of Turn It Up, which seems to have acquired a new part towards the end :wub: I still think The Fall would have been a better name for it though
