Oh well :( Actually maybe that's a good thing :D

Why didn't they re-release Fantastic 6 instead of What Is Happening by the way :snif:

dunno...What Is Happening is a fantastic song, but definitely not a wise single for a pure pop act like they are...Fantastic 6 would have been better for the UK

Alphabeat will probably win tbh actually. I think it's a pretty clear winner.

In terms of 'cheapness' I'd probably say Saturdays / Miley are cheaper, then Alphabeatzzz. Thus they won't get the majority of the backlash.

that would be a 3-2-1 for Numayania :w00t:

The Spell has had very mixed reactions so far...not like Silly Boy/Dolla which were practically universally loved...I don't think it's a clear winner but a fourth top five on the trot for Numayania is almost certain

Now you're just being ridiculous? After points maybe? :kink:

Seriously, my intention with this really wasn't to win. It was only to enter a song I loved. I would have no regrets whatsoever if I hadn't AQd. If I do win, the runner up Torchwood can host

And for the record, I hated Dolla, sorry :snif: Silly Boy was good, but didn't get points from me.

oh right  now the haters come out! I haven't disliked a winner since Brandy I guess, and that's the only winner out of all 19 that didn't have any redeeming features for me, although I've grown to tolerate it

the other 18 winners have all had a charm to them/been amazing

Dolla/Tik Tok/P Diddy/whatever it's called now is good musically, but Kesha's voice on it is hyper-annoying-borderline-Paris-Hilton, and the lyrics are so trashy

I still find it as sleep inducing as ever.

Seriously, Brandy - Right Here = Insomnia Cure.

musically, it's just like an updated version of Kylie's Love At First Sight

I can forgive her awful voice for the catchiness of the whole thing

wasn't that Long Distance?

So... no one is going to post any odds? :P
wasn't that Long Distance?

Was that the one Simon entered?

I can't remember that it was so bland.

I found out two weeks ago why i gave Already Gone 1pt in whenever it was entered

yes

her voice sounds worse than ever on that track to me, I can't bear it...the reason I don't mind Afrodisiac is that the production is so heavy that her voice is a bit more buried than usual

having said that, I do love The Boy Is Mine...I guess I can forgive anyone's voice if the song is good enough

I didn't get the Aphrodisiac love tbh.

Brandy just seems to be one of those who can do no right for me.

I don't love it by any means, I can tolerate it.

The Boy Is Mine comes close to love though it has to be said, but any song from 1998 does to be honest

1998 music wise for me is all B*Witched and Spice Girls.

I was 9, so music didn't really interest me that much tbh

I was only 11 but just getting into it at the time, it was all about The Corrs to be honest

and still is, Sharon for #101 :w00t:

I gave Long Distance 8 and Right Here 10 points I think. Tis a shame so many people seem to see it as a weak winner.

That didnt really add much i know but i thought the thread could do with some Brandy love :cheer:

I guess we all have different views on weaker and stronger winners due to the nature of our differing music tastes...

I know some people can't even remember how 'Not A Love Song' goes[/pavel]

hopefully the best of will refresh their love, as opposed to prompting 'how on earth did this win' comments :kink:

Sugababes in 2002 for me.

Round Round will always hold a special place in my heart. I think i need 4cds to complete my Sugacollection. I even have the uber rare TIMW-PromoBook.

Not A Love Song is the sex. Easily the best song by a Californian Lesbian Electropop Duo ever recorded. :kink:
