So you slag off GaGa constantly, yet praise a track which is a cheap and tacky direct copy of her debut hit?

I was hoping this $h!t would have left the top 20 this week.

I don't praise it, I know it's cheap and cheesy. It's just one of the catchiest songs of this summer for me.

Yet its success surprised me because it sounds as if it was from the 90s.

Lady GaGa is a dance-pop singer from New York City. Born Stefani Germanotta in Yonkers in 1986, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU while performing at open-mic nights around the city. An early collaboration with rapper/producer Akon led to her signing with Interscope Records, which released her debut album THE FAME in October 2008. She scored a number one hit and a Grammy nomination with her ode to lost, drunken nights, "Just Dance." The song went on to top the charts in several other countries, helping GaGa to develop an international following. The vocalist made headlines at the 2009 Brit Awards when she, along with Brandon Flowers of the Killers, performed with the Pet Shop Boys on a medley of the synth-pop duo's hits, including the classic "West End Girls." - HMV

Same.

I've put Pap out of my chart now. And had LG at Top 5.

am i the only Buzzjacker who :heart:s Birthday Sex?

I don't mind the song actually. Not fantastic, but not bad either.

What's wrong with the word SEX? :o

They're getting ridiculous...

The song itself is however quite bland and borring

This is the worst song in the top 40 this week. I will even go as far as saying.. This is the worst song of 2009 so far. The chorus is soo annoyyinggg!
