Not sure if its been mentioned yet but Happy is being used in a promo for a movie called "precious" in the US, ive seen the preview for the movie quite a few times with happy playing in the background so im sure thats helping it a little over here.
Yup it has indeed. Song fits perfectly with the trailer. Very powerful. It certainly seems to be helping on itunes!

Let It Rain is a stunning b-side. Would have been a fantastic album track too. We get amazing b-sides! :heart:
Although there are about 4 or 5 other lead singles potential on the album, I think her management have done a clever thing in the end.
'Happy' is the classic, ballad Leona, X-Factor fans fell for, so it was only right for her to release this as the first single so she can grab the X-Factor fans and get their attention that she hasn't changed her sound TOO much. Also it will help in the long run, we'll probably (well hopefully) get better follow up singles so they are successful and will hopefully sell the album in the long run too.
I hope you all get what I mean as I'm crap at explaining things :heehee:
finally got my physical through off of hmv today, Let it Rain is amazing. It's xmas come early for me only to be topped by the album next week :)

Yep, TOTALLY understand what you mean and I agree. :)
I think Happy is a brilliant song from a lyrical and vocal point of view, but not the best single choice commercially. I still think they made the right decision though lol. OMH as a lead single for example would alienate Leona fans who feel in love with her voice and ballads and it doesn't represent the album as a whole.
