I hate the way her chart history is messy with FTEISYF, Whatever it Takes, Forgiveness, and the album version of Footprints in the Sand charting at much lower numbers though :lol:

 

As for Happy, those are very healthy sales! BUT.....i don't know. I can't help but feel disappointed that she didnt sell twice that with the MASSIVE x factor promo. Perhaps people are getting bored of her or something :unsure:

:lol: och u know what I mean though. I love Leona, but Happy isn't the MASSIVE smash many people (including myself) thought it would be! Even JLS's crappy song sold more!!! Initially, I thought it would sell about the same as Alex (or maybe even more!) but alas....it wasnt meant to be! And of course, 85.5k is STILL impressive nonetheless :)

I think people were expecting "happy" to sell alot more on the back of her massive debut album. In reality, its alot harder to follow up a big first album with a massive 2nd album and "echo" will undoubtly not sell anywhere near the amount of the first album.

I LOVE that people called Happy 'a flop' when it peaked at #50 in the US....now it's almost top 20 on US iTunes!!!

Oooh so finally starting to kick into makor gear in the US at last. Fantastic.

It's a Tedder ballad. They seem to take forever to take off in the US nowadays (see 'Halo', 'Battlefield' and now 'Already Gone' LOL!)

Happy is over on US radio really. It's doing fantastic on iTunes though for some reason lol.

Probably the promo kicking in for it at the moment.
