September 7, 200915 yr Thanks Dave! I can't imagine Jay-Z being Number 1 till the end of the week though, tbh I think Mika will just beat Pixie too it. Devastated at Bananarama flopping :snif: But glad to see Mini Viva in the top 10 :)
September 7, 200915 yr Muse needs to be higher, I'm sure after tonight, they be in contention for a #1, or else I shall be eating humble pie come Sunday. I can't see Arctic Monkeys getting a 3rd week at #1, it be 1, A Beatles album or 2 Florence + The Machine, unless Kasabian or Friendly Fires do the impossible. Whatever happens it be an interesting week in the albums, as its chock a block.
September 7, 200915 yr http://astore.amazon.co.uk/emi-parlophone-...tail/B002IN81DA oooh.... me want... Use Somebody
September 7, 200915 yr U2 will *not* be that high, and I can say that with certainty unlike with The Prodigy last week. Muse will be a lot higher after tonight. And what the hell is with everyone covering Use Somebody? That's four covers I know now - Pixie Lott, Ultrabeat, Paramore (Live Lounge) and Bat For Lashes. Who's next? 50 Cent? Crazy Frog? Cliff Richard? Edited September 7, 200915 yr by Brayden
September 7, 200915 yr I think Martin better get the double cream ready, he will be eating some humble pie by the end of the week. Muse in #1 contention? Why exactly? THey've hardly been shooting up iTunes.. Don't be so sure about U2 btw, they have some obsessive fans and unlike Magnificent, this single is out on 3 physical formats (inc. 2 CD singles)..
September 7, 200915 yr I think Martin better get the double cream ready, he will be eating some humble pie by the end of the week. Muse in #1 contention? Why exactly? THey've hardly been shooting up iTunes.. I just think an Indie track has to make #1 sometime this year, now is the best time before the X Factor stuff filters thru, SOF is nearly a year old, I just think Muse could actually do it, if not I eat that humble pie.
September 7, 200915 yr I think Martin better get the double cream ready, he will be eating some humble pie by the end of the week. Muse in #1 contention? Why exactly? THey've hardly been shooting up iTunes.. Four words: Radio. One. Musenight. Tonight.
September 7, 200915 yr 16 words: I think maybe the fans (who've already bought the single) will be the only ones listening. :P
September 7, 200915 yr 16 words: I think maybe the fans (who've already bought the single) will be the only ones listening. :P 3 words Nice One Sherlock :P
September 7, 200915 yr 16 words: I think maybe the fans (who've already bought the single) will be the only ones listening. :P Oh yes, because of course nobody listens to Radio 1 between 7 and 12pm except Muse fans.
September 8, 200915 yr U2 will *not* be that high, and I can say that with certainty unlike with The Prodigy last week. 1 word: Wrong. :P
September 8, 200915 yr Author 1 word: Wrong. :P Quite right! The only one we`re going wrong with is Bananarama...But I think very much, that it will be gone out of the 40 by Sunday. At the moment 39 out of 40 (although the wrong #1)!!!
September 8, 200915 yr (although the wrong #1)!!! Not totally for sure that you'll have this wrong by Sunday - Pixie's falling on iTunes. ;o And I take back saying U2 will drop out of the top 40 on the grounds of looking like an idiot, but I stand by saying that you have them too high. They'll be lucky to hold top 25 imo.
