Great to see the album back in the top 30 giving it a nice sales boost, im sure it will reach 900,000 by year end.

If the album stays at #24 this week and keeps those sales next week or gets an additional boost from Messy Little Raindrops it should reach 900,000 within two or three weeks.

I wouldn't rule out 3 Words reaching one million by year end if they sell it with a reasonable price through christmas.

3 words now stands a very good chance of becoming a million seller at some point, if it manages to stay top 30 again this week and stay around even in the lower end of the chart until the end of the year it could possibly get very near 940,000, the remaining sales will come in dribs and drabs but should eventually see the million mark.

This sold 929,971 up to last week (26/12/10).

It's not in the chart this week - so, either it's fallen out of the Top 200 from #86, or it's been transfered to the Budget album chart. I think it's become budget. So annoying. :(

Confirmed - it was demoted to the Budget Album chart. Straight in at #1.

FINALLY A MILLION SELLER....EXACTLY!

Cheryl Cole's debut solo album, 3 Words, has finally sold one million copies in the UK. I say finally not because it took an inordinate amount of time to get there - it was released in October 2009 - but because it passed the 999,000 mark some 22 weeks ago, and has inched along ever since. It sold just 20 copies last week - its lowest weekly sale yet - to bring its overall sale to a pleasingly round 1,000,000.

Excellent news! :D I see they failed to mention that it's also the 86th best-selling album by a female solo artist in the UK though :P
Great success for her, it however does make me question where 900,000 buyers of her first album are for her third release which struggled to sell a tenth of it.
