Leona releasing her second album on 16.11 and Susan debut album is out a week after... do you think it will be a close one? or a HUGE one? :)

since yesterday thousands of people ordered Susan album and not Leona...

BTW... a week before Leona - Robbie is releasing his comeback album... :) wow!

BTW 2.. I just heard his new single Bodies and it's... mmm... don't know what to say, I like it.

Are you referring to the UK or the US?

In the UK I think Leona will win hands down; however in the US I think it'll be the opposite and Susan will get massive sales - she's already #1 on pre-orders on Amazon over there.

Leona's single premieres on the Radio 1 Chart Show this Sunday and her opening sales in the US are pretty much dependant on how good 'Happy' is; whereas here in the UK I think she's guaranteed big sales.

To be completely honest though, they are not releasing in the same week so I think you're creating a battle out of thin air.

Yeah. No real "battle" here.

Leona Lewis. Robbie Williams is a bit...meh, and as much as I like Susan Boyle, Leona is miles better.

How is Susan Boyle so successful in the US? :o

There was a massive promo blitz following her appearance on Britain's Got Talent auditions.

She was on all the major news networks as a headline news item, she appeared on Oprah; basically the Americans have gone crazy for her, and she hasn't been subject to the same "build them up, only to knock them down" mentality of the British public/media.

She's beyond huge in the US, the only potential thing that may go wrong is that they didn't immediately capitalize on her overnight stardom by immediately rushing out a cover album over there.

She could sell anything from 200k-1million in her first week there.

Leona will be #1 the week her album's released but then the next week Susan Boyle will be #1 for a while I reckon with huge sales.

Again, where - the UK or the US?

I think Susan will have HUGE first week sales and then no longevity! Leona will sell well all the way through her campaign.

Both of them will get to number 1 though.

That seems correct to me.

I think it'll be Leona on first week, then Susan for one week, then Leona for a few more weeks until the next huge release...

I must say Leona's Spirit is one of the best albums I have ever heard!

I will definately be buying the album the day it's out, her album will do very well!

Well her first single, 'Happy', has just gotten a spectacular review from PopJustice, so hopefully the album will be just as good! :D

Both singers have superb voices, both coming from Simon Cowell money making ripoffs talent shows. But one has the personality of paint drying wall; the other is like Michael Barrymore's mad Scottish cousin.

I know whom I hope will do better. :P

Team Su-Bo all the way. Word. B)

That is the same PopJustice that described Alexandra Burke's not bad but hardly "Womanizer meets Biology" new single is it?

Leona doesn't have the personality of a "paint drying wall", she's quiet, shy and reserved. Just because she's not ugly as hell, so it was a complete shock that she can sing, or a tart who shaves her head, doesn't mean that she has a poor personality.
