I was about to say the same funnily enough

it's that sort of innocent subtle beauty that they both have, rather than the Beyonce/Jade Ewen style obvious beauty, if that makes any sense

Yep, with you there :D
it will help me brush up on my german :D:D

:heehee: it's helped me so far, I now know about 20 words I didn't know before :w00t: I'm ready to move there I think!
definitely glad you decided to take a risk and send a non-english song, especially one that I actually like  Deffo getting points from moi, err, Xyland :P

yeah, it was time for a risk, I rarely send two completely BJSC friendly songs in a row...unless you count Kongulo as BJSC friendly, which it sort of was I guess...

if Stadt was in English, I expect it would be a Buzzjack favourite, but seeing as it isn't, it will be interesting to see how it goes down

I've never had a case to send a foreign language track before as there's always been something better to send, but this is my favourite foreign language song since La Tortura probably, unless I've forgotten something

you just gave me a courage to send In-Grid La Droguier

 cue the 'too many foreign tracks in this contest blah blah blah' if you do :heehee:

people are never happy :kink:

Opium? :snif:

Opium only reached #13 in my chart though I think...I'm trying to think of foreign songs that were huge in my chart, and they are mostly Shakira songs or Eurovision songs

shame, I'm not expecting it to be well loved though, just hoping that somebody will like it as much as I do

the Mdice-Rontvia mutual entry appreciation circa XIII-XVII just isn't happening at the moment is it :( I haven't particularly liked any of your recent entries/current selections to the extent that I have loved your entries in the past and I know you hated Music Everywhere and Example too  :snif:

H-Boogie Plays Rontvian Radio

Kingdom of Shadow entry into BJSC XXI, H-Boogie today performed live on Rontvian Radio as part of her ongoing world BJSC tour. FSR Rontvia's entries have received points consecutively in the last four contests the Great Kingdom has participated in making them the most loved BJ nation since XVI! That is something which would have been incomprehendable a year ago when it is fair to say Rontvian entries didn't go down all that well in the Kingdom. H-Boogie was of course questioned on her thoughts of this month's entry 'Stadt'; "It's great that Rontvia are sending a non-english entry this month. It makes the contest really diverse and hopefully will encourage others to bring in a wider range of music too!". Whilst on air she performed a live version of her track 'Freaks Come Out' before introducing her XXI entry 'The Radio' produced by Get Far.

thank you Tom, I hadn't realised that you had been so generous to us, I remember when you hated all of my entries :snif:

I'm glad my direction change circa XV onwards (with the exception of last month ) has been well received in KoS

Rontvia welcomes all live performances and promotional trips so thank you to H-Boogie for coming :cheer:

:( If it makes you feel better, this is miles better than Music Everywhere and Example. ;o If the quality of the contest sucks it could get points? It's just kinda eh for me, not memorable. ;_; Especially compared to Not a Love Song and MAGIC. <33

Perhaps our mutual appreciation will return in a few contests. :o I gave 12 points to Butterflies. Anything can happen.

I loved Stadt on first listen, I love the melody and drum rhythm :o Not A Love Song on the other hand is seen as one of the most forgettable winners I think :snif: took me a few listens before I realised its true brilliance

I found the Dragonette song quite forgettable funnily enough :( it's quite sad as Dolla, Girl & The Robot and Once I Was Like You are amongst my favourite entries of the year and I really want to give you points again! I guess I need to find something that's catchy but not tacky, and clearly at the moment I seem to find only one or the other  still, Stadt's by far my favourite song at the moment so it would be pointless for me to send anything else this month, my heart wouldn't be in it

your 12 for Butterflies needs to go down in a new thread called 'biggest BJSC shocks' which I can't be bothered to open

Anna celebrated her second place in XX today by performing live on 'Rontvian Children in Need'
