:smoke: things can be done with clips...Neon Cloud it!

you have 1:26 to play around with anyway if we're indeed referring to 'she don't she don't lie to ever tell the truth'

I take it your messages to Jasmine didn't work?

They didn't work at all :( However I have been told Jasmine will be returning to music this year :o

I can't Neon Cloud the 1:26 properly :( I'm expecting a killer middle eight!

shame - why she feels the need to hide it away I have no idea :( unless she's planning on giving the track to a massive artist - imagine if it popped up on Kylie's new album!

I tried to Neon Cloud it once but it sounded too messy, I put in another chorus and then did an electro fade to finish but it still came in under 2 and a half minutes long so I dropped the idea :(

If it got given to Kylie I think I'd have a fit! I've been waiting to send it for a good year and a half now :arrr:

 it still sounds as fresh/purposely dated now though - that's the good thing about 80's throwbacks, they can be sent at any time and still feel up to date!

has she :o

I listened to the clip on youtube by the way and it sounded a bit weak  :( were you expecting it to transform into a masterpiece as the song continues :kink:

Apparently so :snif:

Her management confirmed

Backseat gets glowing review on Rontvian blog as success continues

The Rontvian media has been going wild in the last few days, hailing Backseat by Staygold, Spank Rock, Lady Tigra and Damien Adore as FSR Rontvia's finest BJSC entry since Anna Abreu's highly tipped Music Everywhere, the third biggest selling single of 2009, finished 2nd in XX. The song, which has so far spent a fortnight at the top of the Rontvian Hit Parade, has got a glowing review from the country's top media source, the entertainment blog Pop Love Dance, which receives well over 3 million home hits and a further 2.5 million international hits per day. They said of the track;

Swedish duo Staygold have teamed up with fellow Swede Salem Al Fakir (under the alias Damien Adore) along with US rappers Spank Rock and Lady Tigra, and the result is arguably the most infectious song of 2010 so far. 'Damien' puts on his best Mika falsetto over an irresistible 80's inspired Prince-like electro groove which sounds incredibly fresh yet classic at the same time. The cameo rap from Spank Rock and vocal segment from Lady Tigra only add to the magic of the song, coming in at the perfect time to prevent the song from becoming repetitive. And just when you think it's all over, a stunning electro breakdown closes the track out in the best 80's throwback I can recall since Groove Armada's 2007 anthem Song 4 Mutya. Definitely one to listen to - highly recommended.

Song 4 Mutya (Out Of Control) was the 4th biggest selling single of 2007 in FSR Rontvia, a feat that Backseat is incredibly likely to emulate for 2010 at this rate. The blog also discussed the latest offerings from Cascada and Velvet/Linda Bengtzing, and can be seen here; http://poplovedance.blogspot.com/2010/02/n...ng-but-not.html. RTVN are hopeful that the song will do at least as well as Breaking The Silence by Shackles, which finished in 10th place last month. Insiders say 'the odds are favourable but it's impossible to tell how the BuzzJack World will take to the song. It's incredibly different to the usual Rontvian sound.'

FSR Rontvia have finished 10th for the 2nd time in a row, third time in total with Backseat, bringing our total top ten hits in the contest to 17 out of 24! The song remains at #1 in FSR Rontvia for a third week, much like its predecessor Shackles achieved.

Plans for XXV will be announced in due course...

Your best entries (by far) always come 10th.! Congratz!

congrats on your win :cheer:

I'm curious to see what you bring next ;)

So am I  I haven't got a clue!

I have two potential entries for XXV now, one is a bit jazzy, would probably come bottom of the semi  the other is more dancy but not necessarily any more 'BJSC friendly'...

A flop is on the cards for me this month I think - I've managed three strings of five consecutive top ten hits and they always come to a grinding halt afterwards - I've never managed six in a row

Guess what former Rontvian artist's latest album featuring the bjsc entry leaked? :kink:
