I have number 28  I'm so very happy to be getting the recognition Ashton deserves for sending brilliant pop music.

The 3 TBO's and the Xmas Spin off have kept my Excel skills sharp.

Congrats Rich

well deserved winner.

TLT>>>>>>>>>>>>>Psycho

Thanks Addy!

I agree - it's all about that middle 8 - 'One last tiiiiiiiiime, before we say goodbye'

Congrats Rich, well deserved winner, even though I seem to be the only one who liked Psycho much more... Really interested to see what you will send this time!
5 and 11. Gah it's been a WHILE!

Sheelah perform their two Rontvian BJSC winners at the MF aftershow party in Globen...is it just me or does the Psycho backing track sound beefed up (probably for inclusion on the album) and more amazing than ever :o And good on Emilie for getting the money note spot on in the middle eight of The Last Time. Words cannot express how much I adore these two songs

For our 33rd entry, FSR Rontvia have gone back to the US and female singer Brittany McDonald with the pop anthem Strawberry Shake, abandoning the successful formula of using a Swedish act, for this month at least. The song has shot from #16 to #3 in FSR Rontvia this week, yet another domestic smash hit!!!

American singer Brittany McDonald has taken FSR Rontvia to a respectable 12th place in BJSCXXXIII. Unfamiliar to mid-table results, the country tend to either come top 5 or flop hideously, but Brittany is philosophical about her 12th place 'it's another hit for the nation, and they've had an unbroken run since they last flopped with Example in summer 2009, I'm just pleased that we managed to get three 12's meaning that three countries made a great discovery'. RTVN have said that they are satisfied with the result and don't see it as too much of an embarrassment following an unprecedented two consecutive wins courtesy of Lykke Li and Sheelah.

Ricardo Delta said, 'we made it out of the semis, and finished 12th in a field of 42 tracks, also passing up the opportunity to auto qualify, so we're happy with that. We will of course be aiming for a top ten return next month and congratulate debuting Batidas on their win'. Batidas' entry, Riverside by Agnes Obel has become the biggest contest hit since Leddra Chapman's huge #1 smash Story in FSR Rontvia. It's climbed to #3 in the Rontvian charts, stalling behind only the power pair of Blue and Jennifer Lopez, who have locked down the top two for 5 consecutive weeks. Her album, Philharmonics, debuted at #4 this week.

For the 34th contest in Batidas, FSR Rontvia has turned to a song and artist that ticks none of the 'how to do well in BJSC' boxes. That is all that the RTVN were willing to divulge but they hope that the song goes down as well across the Buzzjack World as it has in FSR Rontvia. Worn out after their consecutive wins in XXXI and XXXII, Ricardo Delta said 'we can take a few risks at this stage now, we've proven ourselves many times and it's time to shake things up a bit to prevent people from getting bored. The last thing we want is for FSR Rontvia to turn into a one trick pony'.

After receiving 6 out of a possible 24 points from Ashton over the last two contests, we thought it was wise to go back to having the seal of approval first :P

So it was just the 6 I gave to your last entry.

That ratio should improve a bit this time! That has to be the worst two contest points score for Rontvia from Ashton since BJSC 2&3 surely.

What happens when Rontvian legends Sheelah meet another former Rontvian representative?

!!!

The quality is worse than that NGDA video, but it's just enough to tell it's UTTERLY GLORIOUS

Bascially

Hopefully! WE WILL BE POPULAR (possibly not considering what we're both sending...)

The RTVN are pleased to announce FSR Rontvia's entry for BJSC XXXIV in Batidas;

Eric Amarillo sings and has produced this wonderful dance track called Om Sanningen Ska Fran. FSR Rontvia have dabbled only once before in foreign language - Markoolio and Linda Bengtzing's Varsta Schlagern, which finished 20th in XXXVIII. Solo male artists are also not exactly a common occurence, the last being Fabio Lendrum way back in XXXI! And dance music has been known to represent FSR Rontvia in the past, but not usually to great results with Thermostatic and Example both failing. XVI's Blank feat Young Ivy though arguably provided a BJSC classic with I'm Going For Your Brother. The combination of an aging male act singing a dance song in Swedish is one of the biggest risks FSR Rontvia have taken for a while but Ricardo Delta is hopeful that the song will win some support; 'Om Sanningen Ska Fran is a fantastic dance track that has all of the makings of an international hit - even if it would have to be translated first! It's been steadily climibing the Rontvian chart and moved into the top five for the first time this week. We wish Eric the best of luck.'
