Great to hear  This sounds thoroughly amazing on a sunny day in the car with the windows wound down. Although I got some strange looks from people in Wrexham whilst said instance was happening, they've probably never heard a song not in English before. Most of them don't even know a word of Welsh and they ARE Welsh :drama:

Wrexham, and for that matter most of Flintshire is full of English people who can't afford to live in Cheshire

I needs me the mp3 when Hit's puts them up.

Ricardo Delta of the RTVN has said that he's extremely pleased with the result of Eric Amarillo's Om Sanningen Ska Fram in BJSCXXXIV, which has just finished in Batidas. The song, a male Swedish language dance song doesn't exactly adhere to the rules of BJSC success, but nonetheless, the song managed to finish 6th in what was widely regarded as a very strong contest quality wise. Mr Delta said "This is a great result for the nation. The song has already spent two weeks at #1 in FSR Rontvia and is one of the biggest hits of the year. It's the first time FSR Rontvia have taken a foreign language track into the top ten and this wasn't the only thing it had working against it! Male entries and dance entries are always instantly at a disadvantage and we're ecstatic that Eric managed to overcome these obstacles to claim a respectable result for the country".

It improves on Rontvia's 12th place of last month, and continues their streak of hits, which dates back two years ago beginning with Hafdis Huld's Kongulo in XIX which followed Example's huge flop with Watch The Sun Come Up the month before. The contest was won for a second time by Herzebania, with Charice's Louder, a track that has gone top 50 in FSR Rontvia off the back of the contest and received 7 points in the final from the nation.

Compilation album smashes all sales records

New compilation album 'FSR Rontvia: The Ultimate Collection', a 21 track compilation housing the country's finest and most memorable BJSC entries has got off to a flying start report MusicDay, selling 'over 459,000' copies in its opening week. General Castiron, the spokesperson for Rontvia's biggest music chain, Rontmusic, said 'this is completely unprecedented, we had to order in triple the stock that we were anticipating. We Were expecting it to be huge as it includes so many of the country's biggest ever hits but to sell 260,000 CDs and almost 200,000 downloads is unheard of.' An international release will take place first in Ashton, Numayania and Kopecka on Monday June 20th and across the rest of The Buzzjack World on June 27th. Ashton pre-order figures place it 2nd currently behind Keisha Buchanan's TBC release, #1 on their pre-order chart since she was sacked from the Sugababes. Here is the cover and tracklist, which was chosen by an online fan poll;

Ha, LOVING Kopečka's bonus track :D I'd have taken out 6 and 7 and replaced them with Nobody Without You and Fabio Lendrum though.

What a compilation though *.* Kopečka may have to come up with one in the near future to match the expectation!

Nobody Without You is on there albeit further down!

No way would I not put A Night Like This on there, unless you mean for the Kopecka personalised version?

Ugh, how did I miss NWY RIGHT THERE at 13? :manson: Yeah, this is for a personalised version as I appreciate others see something in Caro that I don't - I don't dislike her, she just never really clicked for me  I'd probably swap it for Strawberry Shake then. SO underappreciated - and it was worse as it was top ten all the way through most of the voting as I received it!

Ok fair enough, I'm surprised she did as well as she did coming 12th, it's definitely an acquired taste - one that MOR fans across the country appear to have now acquired :cheer:

Strawberry Shake is a great pop song but it's probably already been forgotten by most, and I only sent it two months ago! So it has no place on a compilation of 'all time greats' sadly. Gutted it just missed the top ten though but I can't come top ten EVERY month, so a miss every now and then isn't something I stay up all night crying over  A DNQ maybe, but that hasn't happened since 2008 :o

Two and a half years after it finished 2nd in BJSCXIII for FSR Rontvia and spent 5 weeks at #1 here, The Sound of Arrows have FINALLY unleashed the official video for M.A.G.I.C., complete with a flashy new single mix!

C'est super!

As anticipation heats up for the BJSCXXXV final, news has reached that FSR Rontvia's entry by Chart Music has climbed to #1 in the country of former competing country Tartford;

http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=130989

Head of RTVN Ricardo Delta said 'it's great that our entry is reaching beyond the borders of the contest, smashing in former countries, it's just a shame they can't be with us anymore'. Odds show that All My Life is generally expected to go top ten, home bookies predicting a finish between 7th and 10th place following mixed reactions from across the Buzzjack World. Arriving on the red carpet in People's Republic of Jester, Miss X, the mysterious singer on Rontvia's latest entry said 'we're pleased to have gone to #2 in FSR Rontvia, clearly we couldn't beat Ed Sheeran in the charts - he's just too much of a force at the moment, it's amazing to be #1 in Tartford though! We wish everybody the best tonight'.

Rontvian bookies have seen a number of late flurries on entries by Ojnoj and Unoshake whilst bets on the home entry as well as Hendinia's entry from Wynter Gordon have jumped off a cliff during the week. Darren Sticks-n-Stones of RontBet said 'it's a fairly wide open contest this month we think but it looks as if Ojnoj or Unoshake could well get their first win. Ashton and Herzebania are also highly fancied. It looks as if our entry might struggle to pull in the votes this evening but it's all still to play for so who knows, we're hoping for a top ten. We haven't had any money at all laid on BaNG since it was revealed that they failed to submit their votes, it will really cost them tonight'.

Chart Music have become FSR Rontvia's record breaking 7th BJSC winner out of 35 contests, a statistic that indicates that the country have won 1 in every 5 contests :o

Ricardo Delta, head of RTVN said 'this is absolutely astonishing, everyone in Rontvia is in complete shock, we are of course elated and thank everyone that voted for us'. Miss X, the mysterious singer of the entry said 'my dreams have come true - topping the charts in Tartland and winning BJSC in the same day, I can't believe it!'. All My Life picked up votes from a cross section of countries and managed to edge out Unoshake's former top 75 Rontvian hit, We Run The Night, as well as the current top 5 smash Misty Miller's Remember.

Sales of the double disc edition of the FSR Rontvia: Complete Collection compilation, which includes All My Life as a bonus track, and are currently the only way to get the track physically, are reported to have increased by 1000% across much of the BuzzJack World as shops have opened up for night selling due to mass demand. The song is also making its way up iTunes charts across the world.

After winning BJSC XXXVI for a 7th time thanks to All My Life by Chart Music, the contest has returned to FSR Rontvia this month.

Representing us this time around is New Zealand R&B singer Ria with her string laden urban pop track Over You. A slightly different direction to the variation of Swedish pop, dance or electro that the country has become most known for in recent months, Ria is the 2nd act from the nation to represent Rontvia, following Zowie who finished 2nd with Broken Machine in BJSCXXIX, aka The One Where Identities Were Kept Under Wraps Until After Voting. Over You debuted at #2 in the Rontvian charts this week, behind - you guessed it - Ed Sheeran.

FSR Rontvia will compete from the 2nd semi-final having passed up the opportunity of AQ'ing to carry on the recent tradition of hosts doing so.

Ria has finished 9th on home ground in Klurren with her Rontvian #2 hit Over You. It's FSR Rontvia's 18th HIT in a row (as in top half of the final!), our 25th top ten entry out of 36 attempts and the one position we needed to complete our top ten haul of finishing in every place within the top ten! Ria was said to be elated that she'd helped FSR Rontvia to achieve this feat first!

Meanwhile, the current Rontvian #1 single by Espen's Frida Gold finished in a respectable 2nd place whilst Isconia's entry by Lana Del Rey, currently #8 in the nation won - a triumphant debut victory for the nation!

Great show tonight Rich :D

So are you now glad a HQ version of the Lena song didn't leak?

Cheers Jack :D

Yes I am, I have a feeling it would have either DNQ'd or come bottom five in the final thinking about it properly. I'm surprised it still hasn't leaked though :o

I feel quite bad about your coming 6th because you and Kluminican Republic were battling for my 1 point. I went for that in the end because it was a top ten hit in my chart quite recently - I've got a bit bored of it in the last couple of weeks but still liked it a fraction more than your entry. I voted first though so I couldn't exactly tell how it was going to pan out and I'd have felt just as bad for Klumzee if I'd given you the point instead

Australian singer/songwriter Katie Cole picked for BJSC XXXVII

Following last month's New Zealander Ria, it was a short hop across the pond to Australia for FSR Rontvia's 37th entry in the contest to be held in Isconia. Katie Cole is a performer with a rapidly rising profile and the joyous Sunrise has already debuted emphatically at #2 in FSR Rontvia, held off by fellow Australian Sia with Titanium, her collaboration with David Guetta. FSR Rontvia's love affair with Australian music stretches even farther back than that of Sweden with acts such as Delta Goodrem, Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, Gina G, Vanessa Amorosi, Missy Higgins, Natalie Imbruglia, Madison Avenue, Rogue Traders and Puretone amongst many others all making a huge mark on Rontvian culture. With this in mind, it's surprising that Katie is the first Australian to represent FSR Rontvia since the very first contest, and of course Delta Goodrem's Believe Again! The song itself has echoes of Sheryl Crow, Nerina Pallot, Amy MacDonald, Natalie Imbruglia and Delta with an intro nicked from Kelly Clarkson/Katy Perry *delete as applicable*.

Katie Cole becomes 35th finalist for FSR Rontvia

Katie Cole's Sunrise has qualified for the final of BJSC XXXVII, thus becoming our 35th appearance in the final, a record that is joint with Kopecka who also qualified. The song, which climbed a place from #2 to #1 in the newly published Rontvian charts continues Rontvia's perfect run into the final for nearly three years, the 2nd and most recent DNQ being back in December 2008. Katie said 'I'm elated to take FSR Rontvia into the final again, and even more stunned to see the track appearing in the charts of other countries already. I feel great.' She's Rontvia's first Australian entry since Delta Goodrem's Believe Again, back in the first ever contest. That is the second biggest selling single of all time in the nation and spent 12 weeks at #1 back in 2007.

Sheelah split up!

Swedish female duo Sheelah have split up as singer Emma Lewin has decided to leave the act :( The pair only appeared in BJSC twice, both times for FSR Rontvia, and both times winning the contest - an unprecedented 100% strike rate which turned in two of the biggest contest winners of all time statistically. Naturally Ricardo Delta, head of RTVN, was devastated 'Sheelah were one of the most popular acts that we've ever sent to BJSC and did a lot for morale in the nation giving us our 4th and 5th wins with Psycho and The Last Time respectively. Although we just about got away with it twice and were unlikely to ever use them a third time, it's a real shame that we won't even get the chance to. They may only have ever recorded two songs in studio form, but my god what a legacy to leave, if only we could have had an album! Both were huge #1's in FSR Rontvia and their presence will be missed in the charts.' Sheelah were formerly part of Caracola who scored a number of hits in Sweden, including the Melodifestivalen 2008 entry Smiling In Love. It seems that now their split from each other is final.

Katie Cole has finished 10th for FSR Rontvia with Sunrise which picked up a respectable 103 points in the final of BJSCXXXVII hosted by Batidas. It marks the fourth time that the country have finished in this position following Blank feat Young Ivy, Shackles and Staygold feat Spank Rock, Lady Tigra and Damien Adore. The song was replaced at #1 in FSR Rontvia this week by Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera's Moves Like Jagger but remains a huge hit clocking up three weeks inside the top two now.

Farahtyn won the contest with Jessica Mauboy's Inescapable, a former top 60 hit in FSR Rontvia, although no points were awarded to the nation, the first instance of a winner not being supported by the Rontvian public since BaNG won with Ellie Goulding's Under The Sheets, although Ellie later went on to score a major #1 album in the nation with Bright Lights. Close allies Ashton finished 2nd with Veronica Maggio's Jag Kommer whilst United States of Jack, Kopecka and Unoshake all made triumphant returns to the top five. Having been tipped for the top five by many, Numayania, Yuxhaaq, St Joliver and Batidas all had to make do with lesser positions, much to the surprise of many.

FSR Rontiva's 'underwhelming' record during 2011 now reads: 1-1-12-6-1-9-10 and Katie ensures that Example remains the last flop for the nation. The rapper currently resides at the top of the UK singles chart with Stay Awake, his second chart topper. He looks set to be replaced by fellow 'you heard it from Rontvia first' entrant Pixie Lott.
