That was funny... funny enough I was listening to the Temper Trap album :lol:

as is usual practice in FSR Rontvia, there has been a last minute entry change and London based male singer and rising talent Fabio Lendrum will be representing the country in BJSCXXI with the euphoric anthem 'Don't Wait For Me'!!! He will join Andreas Johnson, Vincent, The Sound Of Arrows and Example in becoming the fifth wholly male act to represent the country. Cassandra Steen and Adel Tawil's Stadt is still #1 in FSR Rontvia but in a poll taken in The Daily Ront, the public voted overwhelmingly not to send it to BJSC as Don't Wait For Me was considered too fantastic to sit on for another two months (considering the best of follows XXI)...this is the new entry;

noticed him on THE blog earlier, and this song smacked me in the face with it's brilliance instantly :wub: either way it's a good male dancy entry for Rontvia without suffering from the Example curse of marmite rapping...

That's true. I must admit I listen to more girly pop than I did before I joined Buzzjack, but The Feeling and Modern Talking are still two of my favourite bands :kink:

I used to like just girly pop with a bit of dance thrown in for good measure but now I will generally give anything a chance...and I have a strange love of nearly all rap music at the moment :/

 

plus I really like the new Robbie song and I've never liked any of his music before :lol: my tastes are clearly changing...

it's climbing steadily up mine, I love the strings, it's got such an emphatic chorus :o

My opinion is: I hear a lot of new artists on my travels through the Internet, but rarely do I come across an artist with as much potential as Fabio. His songs are perfect for 2009 (a mixture of Calvin Harris and Frankmusik, but 10 times better than either of them) and he's got a major label deal, so it'll be a big surprise if he's not destined for success. There are several songs on his MySpace which could be top 5 hits or even no.1s. I can't wait to see how his career progresses over the next few months.

I had heard of him before that was posted but never actually listened to any of his music until I noticed that...

 

I was rather impressed to say the least on first listen :wub: it was Blank feat Young Ivy syndrome of I MUST SEND THAT NOW

 

I possibly would have held on until the next contest if not for the fact that the next contest is probably well over 2 months away
