I'd agree. Send something that Rich wouldn't like for a start :kink:
Perhaps i should sell out and only listen to something if Pitchfork rate it highly? :smoke:

I'm soooooooooo sorry. If you missed out by 2 points or less, I promise to give you my 12 in every contest for the rest of my life...

It's a really beautiful song, I don't understand how it didn't make it...

What did you mean by Scandipop trash though? You know how highly that genre is respected in Numayania, you don't want to cause a rift :kink:

I wouldn't exactly call 80% of the indie trash uptempo.

Indie trash?

Nonsuch - Robyn - Fembots

Hendinia - Roll Deep; Jodie Connor - Good Times

Numayania - Kerli - Tea Party

Ojnoj - Angus & Julia Stone - Walk It Off

Mdiče - Cassette Kids - Spin

Utopia - Groove Armada - Paper Romance

Dalisska - Chris Sorbello - So Lonely

Cadbury - Foals - Spanish Sahara

Angelicland - Linda Bengtzing & Velvet - Victorious

Skall - Lo-Fi-Fnk - Marchin' In

Kopečka - Sia - Clap Your Hands

Quotosibb - Wolf Gang - The King And All Of His Men

People's Republic of Jester - The Golden Filter - Hide Me

Torchwood - Diana Vickers - The Boy Who Murdered Love

Out of all of those, I'd only really call Foals anything close to indie...The Golden Filter might come close but I'd say that's more subtle synthpop.

lol are you guys blaming Rich :o

 Rich shouldn't be blamed. Deaf voters? certainly. Rich?No way.

I think it's a bit unfair to say that Phil sends what I want him to send  I'm happy to give my opinion on every track he shows me but it's always honest. Some I like, some not so much...same as his opinions on my tracks, which I do value a great deal.

I wasn't referring to my Semi there. it was more a sweeping generalisation of an entire genre.

I'd try PMing people. If I ever want some opinions I always PM a few people that I know have very varying tastes, that way you get a better view of how people will react to it.

The Angelicland track was dire. I'm a scandipop fan and that was pure garbage.

I don't get it either :snif:

Another SF1 DNQ that would have gotten points from me in the final. :/

Although I always like your hissy fits after DNQing. :P

Exactly! I wouldn't send anything purely on your recommendation, i have to love it enough to enter it.

I don't really agree about Angelicland tbh, anything with Linda Bengtzing is automatically godly, at least temporarily (she has had 3 #1s in Numayania).

It does really suck that you're out tho :snif:

I want to qualify, but i don't want to sacrifice sending something i love because some people don't like it, who were likely never to like it.

:(

I'm getting a little fed up of under performing with good tracks, inspired tracks then being labeled uninspired :manson:

I don't think you really have to sacrifice your tastes to get a good result - I mean, you tend to like at least something in every top ten, don't you?

I just found it to be a load of crap. Don't see why they do so well nowadays they don't half send some $h!te.

:snif: It totally does.

Random.org points it shall be :magic:

That'd be great too! :D
