With no entry for XXXII yet, the ASC confirm Måns Zelmerlöw for XXXIII

 

Not letting the minor detail of Ashton still deciding it's XXXII entry deter them the ASC and SNÁ have confirmed that the favourite to represent Ashton at the 33rd contest is Swede Måns Zelmerlöw. It would be the first time since Nevio/Cilmi in the 17th contest that Ashton have sent a track with any male vocals, and the first track since BJSC XV's Haffi Haff that Ashton has sent a track with only male vocals.

 

Måns would be only the third entry to have male vocals in Ashtonise history. It is unknown what song has caught the attention of the ASC and SNÁ but it is understood by our source that a contract has been signed.

Placing 5th in the final is AC qualifier Missy Crissy with 898,920 televotes

 

4th was Samsaya with 10,982,988 televotes.

Melodifestivalen Áskorza winner to battle with Måns Zelmerlöw for XXXII spot

 

 

SNÁ shocked the Ashtonise public by announcing that Anniela wasn't automatically going to be confirmed for BJSC XXXII. In a battle of the Swede's it has been announced that she is fighting Måns Zelmerlöw for the chance to represent Ashton in FSR Rontvia. The song, Hope & Glory was released today in Ashton and has since shot to the top of the AshTunes chart. The Physical CD is reported to have sold out across the entire state of Ashworth where the countries Swedish population is based. Sources at the GR'dÁ say that Swedish is expect to be announced as the countries 4th official language on Wednesday, with Norwegian being upgraded to 2nd behind Ashtonise and above English. All signs within Ashworth are already in Ashtonise, English and Swedish as mandated by state law.

 

Prior to the start of MFÁ SNÁ had let slip that there would be a twist and all was not as it seems.

 

Luckily, phone lines are free for BJSC related endeavours so none of the 1.35bn+ televoters are out of pocket. The twist was revealed live on air and coincided with the show's peak audience of 975m.

 

 

 

In contention for Ashton's spot in FSR Rontvia, a country with which Ashton is heavily tied both politically and culturally, is Anniela and Måns Zelmerlöw.

Hope & Glory is my favourite of the two, yet I'd probably give Anniela more points on the basis that I know the former back to front and prefer to reward discoveries in my votes.

Anniela Confirmed as Ashton's entry in FSR Rontvia

 

Swede Anniela, who recently participated in Sweden's Melodifestivalen with Elektrisk, has been unveiled as the Federal Republics 32nd entry to the Buzzjack Song Contest. Ashton, who are yet to miss an edition, are aiming for their record breaking 5th top10 in a row and are rumoured to be hunting an elusive 3rd top 5 in a row. 3rd is said to be the ultimate target for 'My Confession' as Ashton has yet to finish in this position.

Anniela is set to release her debut Ashtonise album on Monday. 'Electric' contains an english version of her MF entry 'Elektrisk' and her BJSC entry 'My Confession'
