Posted September 10, 200915 yr I'm surprised his passing hasn't been mentioned before here. Anyway last week the creator of one of the greatest characters of 20th Century British literature passed on at the age of 80. This book had such a profound impact on me and I must give thanks to my English teacher at school who made us read this and Look Back in Anger as class texts.
September 10, 200915 yr didnt know he was dead, but not being a literary person it means little to me.
September 10, 200915 yr He also co-wrote the Worzel Gummidge TV Series with Willis Hall. WBkgJ4SvQ10 _LdVbOlkMlU Edited September 10, 200915 yr by MusicMaster
