It's quite shocking, not only did she take part the two times she made it to the final (Terminal 3 and Why Me) she also took part in the Irish National finals 4 times in a band called "Chips", 2 more times as a soloist and 1 more time in a band "Linda Martin and Friends"

 

That makes her entries into the contest 9 in total, wow she definitely persevered didn't she? :o It paid off though when she won with "Why Me?" so it just shows you have to keep doing something if you want to get it. ^_^

 

I did some looking up on youtube and wikipedia, I thought she had only entered twice but I guess I was wrong :P

I used to like Like Linda but over recent years she seems to be very full of herself and thinks she is a huge superstar when she isnt. Dont get me wrong she did well with eurovision but she hasnt done alot since excpet for you;re a star where i often thought she looked on contestants.
