So we all knew Alesha would be coming back soon; finally we have a bit of concrete news so it's time for a single/album thread I think!

 

The Boy Does Nothing is produced by Xenomania and is released on CD on November 3rd. It's going directly up against Britney's Womanizer, Christina's Keeps Getting Better and perhaps most unfortunately, Leona's Forgive Me.

 

Even assuming the song is stunning, making the Top 3 that week is going to be one hell of a toughie!

 

The Alesha Show, Alesha's debut UK album release, follows two weeks later on November 17th.

 

In other news Alesha is on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend. Whether it's to dance or perform is unknown.

 

Excited anyone? Can she be big? :o

I love her too, and think she could be massive - but putting her up against Britney and Christina is the dumbest thing ever.

I want her to do well so badly, she has so much talent and she's so lovely.

If she adds Lipstick to the album and changes the release of the single to a week after then she might just get some success. I hope everything starts happening soon as 3rd Nov isnt that far away.

I really hope she does well but i highly doubt she will. She's up against such huge artists, its ridicolous.

Nothing from the Fired Up era will be on the album, so no Lipstick.

I really hope this time she'll be huge.

She's won Strictly Come Dancing since then, and now has load of press and publicity.

I have Fired Up (downloaded). It completely deserved a UK release. It's actually bull$h!t that it didn't.
