THEY are sassy, stylish and sexy and as their recent smash hit song says – we just can’t get enough of The Saturdays.

The British-Irish five-piece girl band are being labelled the new Girls Aloud and now have the celebrity boyfriends to match.

The group, who formed two years ago, have traded in their “normal” fellas for footballers, rugby stars and even boy band members.

Here, they speak to DULCIE PEARCE about boys, bitching and life as part of Britain’s biggest breakthrough girl band.

THE Saturdays are undeniably stunning, but there is much more to them than their looks.

All are trained musicians, with the band being made up of multi-talented Irish singer-songwriter Una Healy, 27, former S Club 8 members Frankie Sandford, 20, and Rochelle Wiseman, 20, guitarist Mollie King, 21, and West End star Vanessa White, 19.

And now they have an assortment of talented boys on their arm to match.

McFly bassist Dougie Poynter is dating Frankie, Rochelle’s man is Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Darren Randolph, former X Factor finalist Adam Chandler dates Vanessa and Mollie’s fella is another X Factor reject, Andrew Brown.

Una, who dates rugby union player Ben Foden, says: “All five of the boys are good mates now and often hang out with us.

“We find it’s a calming influence to have them around and we have so much fun when all ten of us are together.

“I was single when the band started and the others had different boyfriends. None were famous and over time those relationships broke down. Now we are all going out with men more used to being in the spotlight.

“That wasn’t an intentional thing – we wouldn’t care what our men did. However, it probably is easier to go out with someone who is as career-minded as we are and knows a bit about the business.”

The lads’ calming influence may come in handy when the girls are expected to make controversial statements about other bands.

Frankie says: “Because we are a girl band, people expect us to be bitchy and say horrible things about other groups – or each other – which we would never do.”

Looking ultra-cool and trendy has become a must for the band and the girls admit to having a love for High Street brands.

The Saturdays are also the new “faces and legs” of the Veet and Veet Debut hair removal collections, available at major retailers nationwide. See veet.co.uk.

Saturdays sign hair-removal deal

By David Balls, Music Reporter

The Saturdays have been revealed as the new faces of hair-removal brand Veet.

The 'Issues' singers will front a new campaign for the organisation's new collection and were photographed by fashion and beauty artist Tim Bret-Day.

"We all like to look after ourselves and we are often wearing little dresses and shorts for shoots, videos and live performances so we have to make sure our legs look their best," Una Healy said.

"Life is pretty hectic at the moment for us and with our tour coming we really need to make sure that we're ready for anything at anytime," Frankie Sandford added.

The girlband, currently rehearsing for their first headline tour, recently secured their own clothing range with TopShop.

Well i epicly failed as a mod there then.. i guess i should merge the threads
