    lower down the chart, a quick kudos for Gorillaz helping to get Sparks a first top 100 singles slot in 19 years, top 75 slot in 28 years and a chart span of over 51 years with new recordings. That's behind Vera Lynn, The Beatles (sort of), The Rolling Stones, Cher... and ahead of almost everyone else. I say almost as I cant think of anyone else who might have a claim, other than Macca. They are also easily onto the list of oldest acts to get into the charts, on a par with Cher.

    Yay saint etienne! Bought it yesterday so i did my bit to get it top 10. Played it in car to Wimbledon today its good. Wish id seen them too!
