"Hometown Glory" Amazon: #59 (+245) Apple Music: #55 Spotify: #86 Looks like it will stick around for a bit which is great to see. As well as being reset in the charts! It might even be able to double its weeks in the top 40. Prior to its re-entry last week, it had 7 weeks top 40. Another 6 weeks doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility with its current performance on streaming services taking into account ACR. Although it also comes down to how long it continues trending on Tiktok. Perhaps it might get a little bit more playlist support on streaming services due to its resurgence which might help.

Alex Warren gets his first number one single.
Only just listened to "Ordinary" and have to say - it's quite good! Glad to see the first song released in 2025 going to #1.

Achievements & Stories
Some of those achievements are a damned nightmare! I have been playing overwatch since original release in 2016, particularly support characters. I finally got Zenyatta's Rapid Discord achievement last year and I nearly cried 😂 Although I do know that there are groups that "cheese" the achievements as I believe there are usually forums on the achievement sites for people to group up to try and get certain achievements. In terms of acheivements I think one of my most memorable would be getting the platinum in Bloodborne. I had literally tried playing and dropped bloodborne many times over the years as I could never quite get into or get the knack of it. But then something clicked with me and I spent a full week playing non-stop and managed to beat all the bosses. I'm hoping to do the same for Elden Ring eventually but I need to be in the right mindset to play souls-like games.

Favourite 2024 game?
Of games released in 2024 it has to be Helldivers 2. That was such a fun couple months playing with friends.

Jack Harlow - "Just Us (feat. Doja Cat)" finally enters Apple Music at #180. The song is OK, not quite the club banger I thought it was going to be. Not sure I see it doing much unless it goes viral. The music video is up to 2 million views which might help a little. Although the music video is just Jack & Doja flirting for 3 minutes so not really massive replay value to be honest.

Jack Harlow feat. Doja Cat - Just Us
This is OK but was hoping it would build a bit more and go somewhere production-wise.

MARINA - CUPID'S GIRL
Same! It's so infectious and the chorus a guilty pleasure. Really enjoying "CUPID'S GIRL". Looking forward to the album!

Speaking of Linkin Park, they have a new single coming up soon for the Deluxe version of their album. I think it's next Friday and the short clips sound promising. Perhaps another hit for them!

Jack Harlow feat. Doja Cat - Just Us
There's possibly a snippet on Jack's TikTok in a few of his recent ones but it's only him rapping with a little production. Sounds like it is the first verse building into a possible club/dance production.

Jack Harlow feat. Doja Cat - Just Us
Excited to hear it. Hopefully a big bop to take over the charts.

Adele - "Hometown Glory" Amazon: #47 (+#230) Apple Music: #55 Spotify: #70 Climbing back up. Might reach a new peak on spotify tomorrow. Also Amazon now supporting Benson Boone's newest song. "Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else" up to #10 on Amazon. Alex Warren "Ordinary" up to #1 on Amazon. Doechii climbing Amazon quickly. Her solo version of "Anxiety" now #26 and ahead of the version with Sleep Hallow at #27. She also has a 2nd version at #76 so likely top 20 or close to top 10 on Amazon when combined. Saw someone mentioned about Halsey "Bad At Love" Top 200 on spotify now. It's also Top 200 on Amazon now at #151. Would love to see this go viral in the UK and chart here! Also a bit of a low key release but Rascal Flatts & Kelly Clarkson - "I'm Movin' On" at #172 on Amazon. Kelly sounds so beautiful! Jade - "FUFN (f*** You For Now)" appearing on Amazon at #221.

JADE - FUFN • 3rd single
I really like this although feel like it needed something extra to really make it go from an 8/10 to 10/10. Perhaps the chorus having more promimnent chest voice layered in to give it more oomph. Hopefully it'll manage to go top 40 and perhaps climb in the coming weeks. The youtube video no longer being restricted should help it a bit.

RPDR | US | Season 17
The episode was really good and I don't think anyone did badly in the challenge. I agree Lana should've been safe and Jewels in the bottom 2. Poor Lydia. She could've easily won the lip sync if she didn't try cutting her dress or had an easy tear away. Onya completely bodied the challenge!

2025 BPI Certifications
Amazing to see "Easy On Me" 4x platinum. I wonder if Adele is the female artist with most songs 4x platinum or above? "Easy On Me" marks her 6th. "When We Were Young" is likely not far behind. "Skyfall" may also get there by by the end of this year/next year (it went viral last year and has maintained quite high trickle streaming consistently being one of her most streamed songs now). Edit: Just checked and Rihanna has 7 with some at 3x platinum as well. Dua Lipa has 5. Ariana only has 1 but a number at 3x platinum. Taylor has 1 but some at 3x as well.

Lowkey I'm all for Mistress being the winner. Our first big girl winner but by the time the final airs she won't be big no longer. And that cast for a normal season would've been incredible.

Lizzo - Still Bad
Love the production and grows on each listen. It's being pushed to US radio from the looks of it so perhaps this is the lead single?

Great to see "Hometown Glory" reach a new peak. Wonder how high it will go? It looks to have stopped climbing on Apple but has climbed a little bit more on Amazon.

The Official Labour Calmer Steering Thread (mk III)
A big part of it is likely due to failure of people being able to get treatment for various illnesses (cancer being a big one) or routine operations such as hip or knee replacements over the last 4-5 years (partly Covid and partly underfunding of NHS for almost 15 years by the conservatives). This has lead to the general population becoming more ill overall (not to mention the population is aging so a lot of older people waiting for joint repalcements). There has been positive signs with NHS waiting times and care improving since the government took power. I think the cuts they're proposing are dangerous though. At a time when businesses will have the increases NI contributions and so likely not hiring as much. With the cost of a lot of things increasing and inflation likely to increase even further thanks to the mess that is the current US administration. To cut welfare of those who are most in need is not the way forward. In fact it will probably have the opposite effect that they're hoping to acheive. To get people back into work they need to feel supported and to have the care they need - whether that's hospital support or mental health services. Both of which are in the gutter - particularly mental health services. Probably going to be another big shoot themselves in the foot moment in the spring statement.

Lizzo - Still Bad
This sounds really good from the snippet. Hopefully this one will be pushed as the official lead single and sent to radio etc with playlist support.
