Always surprised Erykah didn't have more success in the UK SILVER Barbra Streisand - The Way We Were Used to love listening to this many years ago - surprised it's only now just gone silver. Although nice to see it had an additional 100k+ units from pre-1994! Only just realised this peak at #31 in the UK! For some reason I thought it peaked much higher. Billie Eilish - THE DINER That makes 9/10 tracks of the album certified now! "BITTERSUITE" shouldn't be too far behind (It's ~30 million streams behind "THE DINER" so expect it to be certified in a few months, although her tour could give a nice boost to the album to make it ceritifed quicker). Jennifer Lopez ft. Pitbull - Dance Again Glad to see this certified - should've been a big top 5 hit back in the day! 13 years since release this year! Rachel Chinouriri - All I Ever Asked Glad this had a nice resurgence/has been trickle streaming very well this year! Should be the first of many ceritifications for the song I suspect. Will hopefully be gold by the end of the year! Roots ft. Erykah Badu - You Got Me Two certs for Erykah Badu songs? *_* Well a feature but still!

That's a nice clear-out! Also some more clear-out likely coming in the next couple weeks with quite a few songs on DLC-2 & DLC-1! The chart has been feeling a lot fresher recently. Hoping Justin's album drop might help divert streams away from some older songs to make sure they decline againt this week,

That was a really great talent show! Everyone did well, even the bottom 2. I think the placements definitely had a runway element in them tonight for the judging. I thought Ginger gave the best performance, but Bosco had by far my favourite/the best runway. So can see why the win went to Bosco! Not to say Bosco didn't give a great performance too! Aja & Jorgeous were really good as well. Was surprised at the slight negative critique for Aja at times as I really enjoyed her performance and runway. Daya surprised me - really enjoyed her performance and the ending made me cringe in a good way. Irene was fun, definitely a lot better than her talent on her original season! Lydia and Mistress would be safe performances on most other talent shows. Lydia had a bit of a snag here and there but I still enjoyed her performance and her runway was great! Mistress was the weakest performance. It had some laughs and her lip sync to it was really great! I thought some of her references (such as her he/she/we/they/them/non-binary/vegan/vegetarian meme) were a little lost on the judges though. Also her runway was one of the weaker ones.

Just got back from seeing her at the O2, was such a great show!!!! The set list was perfect *_* Highlights for me in particular were "Ocean Eyes", "L'AMOUR DE MA VIE", "Happier Than Ever" & "BIRDS OF A FEATHER".

Probably. Justin did ~21k with his last album and they did almost 30k with theirs. It'll depend on how big Justin's streaming will be. If his album is of good quality and physicals manage to get released in some form I wouldn't be surprised if he does better than expected.

If the material is as strong as his last album I think it could do very well with a surprise release! Might help to inject more fresh songs at the top end of the chart! Excited to hear it.

Billie Eilish's first show at the O2 is tonight. She got a small boost from the first two shows she did in Glasgow but expect a decent boost for her discography the next week or so as she's doing 6 shows at the O2 followed by 4 at the Co-op Live in Manchester. Great to see Don Toliver & Doja Cat's "Lose My Mind" entering the top 200! I really like the song and was disappointed it didn't make much of splash when released a couple months ago but the movie looks to have boosted it very nicely. It's #59 on global spotify now and starting to chart in various countries. Would be great to see it become a hit here!

Officially starts her UK dates tomorrow in Glasgow *_* Can't wait to see her next week although it's going to be so hot (Forecast for 30C+ in London urgh). Hope the album gets a nice streaming boost!

Quite like the album! Been going on a bit of a delve into her previous work as well and forgot how many bops there are *_* My favourite tracks on the album are "BUTTERFLY", "CUNTISSIMO", "EVERYBODY KNOWS I'M SAD" & "FINAL BOSS". But also like "I <3 YOU", "JE NE SAIS QUOI", "CUPID'S GIRL", "PRINCESS OF POWER" & "DIGITAL FANTASY". A solid 7/10 album (which correlates nicely with me liking 9/13 songs!)! I also really like the 2nd half of "METALLIC STALLION" when the production really kicks in - love the orchestral notes to it. It's a shame it takes half the song to get there.

Production just doesn't like Cynthia as they certainly weren't pushing her in the bracket epsiodes so doesn't surprise me they get rid of her right away. I think they didn't expect the other queens to give her so many points to make it through. Although her runway didn't help as there definitely seemed to be a weighing of the runway for the overall judging this episode

Honestly great! Was glad to see music releases being standardised across the world and enough of the held back releases or the music releases being released later in certain countries than others (Adele's 21 being a good example of that with 6 different release dates with 2 months between the earliest release and latest!).

I think that's quite impressive given it's only had 3 years and the list will be somewhat skewed due to the US making up such a large part of its market share (with Rap/Hip-hop generally being the most popular genre on Apple Music US)!

Aww I didn't see that. I assumed it might trickle stream fairly well as various songs from it stream well and I think a couple went viral over the last couple years. ("Bubblegum Bitch", "Primadonna", "How to Be a Heartbreaker", "Teen Idle") although I guess the downweighting of the top 2 tracks hurts it. I just went through the spotify data to estimate how much the album is selling per week via spotify only and it works out as 95 album sales from streams (assuming UK is 5% of spotify total streams, although wouldn't be surprised if a larger % of streams are from the UK). Assuming spotify is 50% of the market and she's streaming similarly elsewhere then the album is likely doing near 200 units per week in the UK from streaming which is just over 10k per year. Will take a decade to get to platinum.

Will be interesting to see what this does. Most likely the party will take some of the green & labour's vote. If it establishes itself well, I could see the next election being very interesting. We could see neither labour or the conservatives as the top parties. Or 5-6 parties all around the same vote share (10-20%) - Labour, Conservatives, Reform, Lib Dems, New JC party + possibly green party. Really wish we had a proportional representation system.

Ah totally forgot about "Guess"! Might be her first album to get 5 platinum+ songs as "Girl, so confusing" is streaming really well - Lorde's comeback has helped boost the song a bit and it's even managed to get more weeks top 100 on the UK singles chart recently!

Charli xcx - Apple Happy to see this platinum! 2nd platinum single from [I]Brat[/I] Should see "Von Dutch" become the 3rd in the next year. MARINA - The Family Jewels Yes at this going platinum! Her first platinum album - times nicely with her most recently released album. I think Electra Heart musn't be too far off platinum, maybe we'll see that certified in the next year or so as well.

Oo come on Vivacious & Hershii *_* That's interesting - if it's non-elim with fewer queens I assume they will do another points system or something? And also have more episodes before the finale.

Production hate Cynthia I swear She literally got more laughs from Rupaul than pretty much everyone except Ginger - she should've been safe. So bad it was good. Although I do feel that if her runway/reveal was better she would've been safe. Mistress bottom 2 was the right call. The other person was probably Aja. Although Daya/Lydia could've been there too. I want to say Irene should've been high! I thought she did really well despite the limited screen time. I would've went with: Win: Ginger High: Jorgeous & Irene Safe: Bosco & Cynthia Low: Daya & Lydia Bottom 2: Mistress & Aja Mistress rightfully winning the lip sync, although wasn't a big fan of the song choice for it.

Honestly, would be amazing to see conservatives almost lower than SNP in seats! Come a general election I think things would fall apart fairly quickly for reform though during the campaign. All it takes is for Labour/Cons to move a few % higher and those 377 seats come crumbling down. Plus I'm pretty sure the conservatives will change leader and try to appeal to their core voters once again by the time the next GE rolls around.

Horrid. Don't see why they just don't just increase NI back to where it was before the Tories cut it before the election. That would raise enough money that they don't need to implement such harsh cuts. Easiest thing for them to do would be to re-join the single market. Massive boost to economy would result and basically forgo the need for all these cuts and would drive growth. But they don't have the courage to do something like that (no courage at all given they are targeting some of the most vulnerable people in society). An election won't happen - but a leadership challenge could occur at some point.

Honestly I was a little disappointed with Ginger I thought the top 2 would've been Denali and Cucu - although I think Cucu's runway kept her out of the running so could see Denali + Daya. Not to say Ginger didn't do badly at all. Even Acid did quite well. Daya and Ginger gave another great lip sync - happy to see Daya win it. So happy Cucu got through! Honestly she should've been top 2 at least once. I do think she's been the most consistent and completely outperformed peeople's expectations. Now bring on the merge and the wild card queen!! *_* MIB back on screen is going to be Drama and a mess, can't wait!
