Miley for me!

There will be 3 Taylor songs ahead most likely. They may push the threshold to 20-25k for top 10. Hopefully the song will do better on streaming than the Kylie Collab with Charli involved to make up for less physical sales.

Oo totally forgot about that as well. Perhaps the low sales could help Madonna/Charli XCX go top 10 too? Or at least top 20?

Miley's team seem to be doing a bit of a push now too so I'm hoping she'll have a little bit more momentum (Instrumental + A Capella versions of the album released digitally, version of the album with "Smile" released on iTunes, bone vinyl restocked on her store etc). Was hoping "Training Season" would be able to get a new top 3 peak at some point but with Taylor now releasing that looks unlikely.

Excited for Taylor to shake it up a bit come Friday! Assuming we'll see a decent amount of the album re-enter the top 200 on Spotify as well.

Glad to see Miley overtake Beck. I'm confident she'll overtake David Bowie as well. May possibly scrape a top 10 showing Friday I hope.

Taylor might as well release 4-5 albums in succession to flood the charts and break all the records again. Have back to back Taylor on the Hot 100 to claim the most #1s record. She's only 5 away from tying The Beatles. She's had 9 this decade so far and 3 in the last year alone!

In what way?! Come back to reality please Liam. This is debuting generally on par with Something Beautiful numbers-wise. There have been way bigger flops than this, have you already forgotten Lizzo?

The covers themselves don't look country-themed though or in theme with her debut album. But then it doesn't match TLOAS imagery as much either. Perhaps Taylor is dropping a completely new album - it wouldn't surprise me at this point

Could be a deluxe of her debut album? From what I'm seeing she may create a super deluxe version of it combining the (Taylor's Version) re-recordings now that she owns all her masters again? Either way we should find out when we hear the song if it's in line with her debut or not (Country/Pop or not).

Oo yes at Taylor releasing this Friday!! Would inject some much needed life into the top of the chart in terms of new music. Perhaps we're in the middle of a new music push through just before Christmas songs arrive?

For a deluxe of The Life of a Showgirl? Or related to her debut's 20th anniversary? Excited to hear it and hope Taylor does good numbers to get to #1 easily next week.

Nice to see some new music rising notably. Sombr likely getting a boost from the orchestral version he released to YouTube a few days or so ago: He also re-enters the global Spotify chart. His team doing good work as the Orchestral version was put on Spotify/streaming services last night I believe and is now available on streaming. Will likely help boost the song further to hopefully a new peak in the top 10! Edit: Not really one for orchestral versions of songs but Sombr's is so good!

Honestly if they did raise the personal allowance that would help a lot of people. People would be ~£600 better off per year or ~£50/month if I'm calculating it right.

Sam & Ellie for comparison: 07 Sam Smith - Hazel Eyes (2,688) 10 Ellie Goulding - I Know Too Much (2,501) Miley ahead of them both by ~700-900 copies. Miley should outdo both of their sales weeks taking into account she's doing better streaming-wise. Hoping Miley might be able to overtake Beck, David Bowie & Roger Taylor come Friday with the benefit of streaming given that she's not too far behind. Glad to see more CDs and a CD bundle put up for sale - hopefully they'll keep pushing the album throughout the week. I can see "Smile" is available on apple music USA as well which is a physical exclusive bonus track. Perhaps it's being released on streaming services to boost the album a little bit too? Hope to see it on Spotify at some point in the week.

Dolly seeing a climb after the Glastonbury set being shown on BBC 2 last night. Might rise a bit more in tomorrow's Spotify update as the set was shown late yesterday evening. Spotify: #99. "Here You Come Again" Hopefully enough of a boost to keep some in the Top 40 in the chart come Friday. Perhaps even enough of a boost to prevent the songs going to ACR.

It's a little lower than Something Beautiful taking into account number of tracks. Although one of the album tracks is just a remix, when taking this out of the equation it's on par. It's a shame her Spotify numbers aren't larger given the good playlist support. Hoping one of the songs may take off on TikTok or something.

BBC Two playing Dolly's Glastonbury set this evening - hope it gives Dolly a nice boost, perhaps helping to avoid ACR for her songs this week?

Also hoping Carly Rae Jepsen's new album manages a top 40 place - haven't listened to it in full yet but already really like what I've heard so far and "Don't Leave Me on the Dance Floor" is one of my favourite songs of the year

Compared to nothing for Ellie and Sam. Miley's probably just outside the top 200 on Spotify with "Bass Persuades" and "Let's Get Married" given both are in the global 200. Although not sure how she'll do in terms of physicals. If she manages ~5k physicals then I think she should do enough streaming to get in the 10 although the threshold has been hovering at 7-8k most weeks and as low as 6k on less competitive weeks. Miley has a number of vinyl variants, including hmv/amazon exclusives, a CD and a cassette. She did have a signed vinyl but it sold out fairly quick.

Streaming-wise she should do more numbers than both of them. I'm hoping Miley will be low top 10 come Friday although not sure what the overall competition is like for the top 10 this week.

This is lovely. I hope it does well/something - perhaps go viral on TikTok for couples.
