Bad Bunny might finally chart with "DtMF". The Weeknd's album releases the 24th so expect a bunch of songs debuting high. FKA Twigs also releasing 24th but not sure she will do much (sadly). Central Lee also has an album out the 24th so he might have a new song do well. Might be quite the busy week with many album tracks from all 3 debuting across streaming services. Lady Gaga's album is slated for Feb with possible collabs with The Weeknd and Chappell Roan. Sam Fender is releasing a new album in Feb as well.

If you look at the polls you just posted you see low approval in January pre-inauguration with over 50% disapproving in all but 1 poll (which is 48% disapprove). Then when you look at January post-inauguration quite a few show approval ratings of over 50% and approval overall by a small margin in some (46% approve vs 45% disapprove in one for example). Before the approval ratings decrease again across most polls in Feb/March to be back at disapproval overall. Which points to what Chez just highlighted.

I wonder if Sam Smith will have a big year this year? With "Latch" & "La La La" going viral, I wouldn't be surprised if they have a big hit with the lead single from their next album. Although not sure if it'll be released this year, but they've been working on it since 2023. They've had a consistent 3 year gap between their album so far though so likely 2026 for release. But if they've got their lead single ready they should release this later this year ala "Unholy". Also didn't realise how big their streams were on spotify. Still gaining on Apple Music/Amazon. Reached a new peak of #31 on Apple music earlier (down to #32) & up to a new peak of #305 on Amazon. Although for Amazon it won't climb much more without being added to the main playlists. I'm pretty sure its music video views have increased decently this week as well, but will have to wait for Kworb's weekly count to update. Nice to see Leona & Calum almost top 30 on Amazon. The song has entered Leona's top 10 songs on her spotify now at #8, so it must be doing some streams on there. They should push the song to radio/release a music video before Amazon decide not to support the song anymore. Could get it charting in the top 100!

Makes me glad labour have the majority they have, even if this situation may paint them in a not so great light. But I think most people are cottoning on to why the likes of Elon, Farrage and the tories are trying to do this.

I just don't know why they don't just add all greatest hits albums to the compilation chart. Clear out the main chart and make the compilation chart a bit more interesting.

Bodes well for the song climbing into the top 30 in Friday's chart. Hoping it will get added to Amazon's main spotify playlist when it updates Friday so it can climb a bit more significantly there. If it stays stable/climbs a bit more on Spotify/Apple and then climbs notably on Amazon (ideally Top 50) then I think it would be able to go top 20 in the chart without too much issue.
