Kinda wish the wins were spread out slightly differently. Wish we would get a UK season at some point when it's not an obvious 2 person race. Would love a final 4 which are neck and neck in wins/track records at some point!

I don't like this? Inferior to the original and I don't think Ariana really adds anything.

Not to mention Teddy Swims & Benson both have 3 songs in the top 100 on the current singles chart and Gracie with 2. They are producing hits/singles with longevity which will translate better into album sales.

Really great episode and thought both trailers were funny. Even Dita made me laugh a few times, I thought she did OK! Also maybe I'm delusional but Zahirah was by far my favouritte in the challenge, made me laugh so many times :lol: I actually thought she was going to be in the top despite the runway when she wasn't called as safe :lol: The lip sync was a bit underwhelming although I thought Dita was better in the lip sync. Kiki's tricks felt out of place and a lot of the time her face was away or not showing properly? Dita definitely gave a tigher lip sync in terms of lyrics/mouth movements. Perhaps my delusion continues :lol: Was hoping to see more of Dita, but alas I think I'm going to be sad at any queen being eliminated now with how much I like the cast. Really looking forward to the rest of the season! :wub:

I thought the episode overall was quite good and the judging fair for the most part. My favourite part was during the walk through with Ru with Miranda shading Kitty 3-4 times :lol: It was great to see Nelly win a challenge! I actually thought Kween & Soa were the strongest/most deserving of the win, but after Kween's outburst I'm happy Nelly won. Like wtf? I think I would've had Tessa in the bottom 2 over Kitty to be honest. Even though Kitty was basic I thought she did the family resemblance better. Although honestly they're calling out Kitty for being basic but Alyssa was just as basic to me? :lol: Poor vanity :( I really liked the outfits but Gala's hair and make-up was not great. Kitty won the lip sync although not by much - was a rather boring lip sync to be honest. Ru was probably more laughing at how sloppy Kitty's death drops were :lol:

Such a great 2nd episode! The drama of it all! :lol: Love the chemistry the cast has - perfect mix of shade amongst them. Sad to see Saki go :( I hope she gets a call back for a season, even if a vs the world, to get another chance to shine. Haus of Zen's looks though... *_* Omg stunning and by far the best. I LOVE the drama of Chanel being so cocky then Ru making the top 3 lip sync only for Lill to then win :lol: The top 3 lip sync was a little disjointed but Lill definitely did the best - I kinda wish the camera was just focused on her :lol:

But the music video release has boosted the song a bit. Linkin Park's "Heavy Is The Crown" youtube views have been really great so far. Currently #1 for the new week (27-28/9) with 891,770 views. Will hopefully help the song climb into the Top 20 in the upcoming chart.

Honestly I hope it's a case of budget being a bit better than predicted and that we'll see improvements over the next few years. One thing I have disliked is the right-wing bots out in full force everywhere. :rolleyes:

From what was being said, most of the queens had never met each other beforehand which further dilutes the season. A lot of the time with the All Stars franchises you can bring back rival queens or queens from the same season or queens that have worked with each other extensively outside the show. So you can create narratives more naturally from the get-go. But that's a lot more difficult with global all stars as there isn't really any prior history of the queens meeting/working together to try and create those storylines.

I think with the AS2 run Alyssa had it was a perfect storm of things. Her story line with Phi Phi, the double win of her & Tati to eliminate Phi Phi and come back in the competition then the Rolaskatox f***ery that kept Roxxxy all the way to the end. If you took out Roxxxy I don't think Alyssa was going to make it much further against the likes of Katya, Alaska & Detox anyway. Plus some of Alyssa's funniest moments are usually unintended and were from her bouncing off other queens. We saw it a little bit with Tessa this season, but I think the issue is being on a season with so many ESL queens it becomes harder for Alyssa to have the same type of impact as she did on her previous seasons if that makes sense?

I'll take Lill for the win!

I really enjoyed Kitty, Nehelani & Kween. Happy with the win of Kitty & Kween, both had me laughing. Kitty's runway was her best so far! I felt really sorry for Tessa and Pythia. Both had really great jokes but they didn't deliver them very well. I loved Pythia's one about after how seeing Kitty she knows why the UK currency is the great british pound - had me laughing so much :lol: :lol: :lol: Vanity was the worst quite easily. :( Alyssa was passable, but a bit disappointing. Vanity killed the lip sync. Shame to see Pthyia go but it was definitely her time to go this week :( Honeslty I think the judging has gotten better the further on in the season we've gotten. Although a roast challenge is something I think should be excluded for global all stars due to most of the queens being ESL. Despite Nehellania doing so well, I believe she's more so the exception.

Dare I say best first episode of a UK series? Really like the entire cast - such a great mix of characters. Lots of really great performances. Lill really surprised me and one of my favourites of the episode. :wub: Kyran was so great too. I was hoping Lill would be top 2 but can't argue with La Voix! Runways were really good too, not a single bad one surprisingly! Really looking forward to seeing how the season evolves. *_*

I'm quite sad I can't listen to the album currently (or a number other new music). I've had a cold for a week and both my ears are completely blocked so can't really hear anything :cry:

She won't get to #1 - the points gap is too big. But she should get a new peak. #4 fairly easily, #3 if the boost is decent. If they were trying for #1 I would've expected them to release CDs or something (watch them become available later today lol).

Probably more US focused. It's now peaking in airplay there so music video release will help boost streaming to help get a new peak on the Hot 100 I assume?

Just heard "Honesty" and what a bop? Will listen to the rest of the album soon. Really enjoyed her collab with Tove Lo earlier this year which is on the album as well!

I just think the Weeknd just didn't release that great of a track. I was a bit disappointed by it. His album will be the last of the triology he's doing which I'm happy for. Hoping his album after will sound more fresh/interesting (I'm sure his upcoming album will have some great tracks though).

I think 2024 has been great so far? So many big artists releasing singles/albums and other artists having a surge of success. Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Billie Eillish, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Hozier, Zach Bryan, Tyla, Benson Boone, Teddy Swims, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, Linkin Park etc.
