OPINION POLLS 2019-2024
It also has the green party at 3 seats. Amazing if true, but I have no clue where their 3rd seat will come from?

Kesha - JOYRIDE
Snippet sounds interesting, excited to listen to the full version!

Jessie Ware & Romy - Lift You Up
It's nice, but falls a little flat. Was hoping for a bit more, especially with the people involved!

They also mentioned this about "Woman's World" - "Will not say much on WW since it’s out soon but…… snippet doesn’t do it justice! Anthemic…. very Katy". Excited to hear it! They heard 6 songs (which they mentioned was 1/3rd of the album... 18 song album? *_* ) and most of what they said was really positive about what the did hear. Interested to see who the collabs are with. They also mentioned there are no ballads on the album apparantley, it's going to be a full pop/dance fun album.

UK General Election 2024
Urgh this, this, this! The amount of random articles I've seen from her on the BBC trying to highlight Labour as "struggling, will have to make hard decisions etc....." and not keeping the same energy for the Tories who created the mess in the first place. I really hope under the next Labour government we will see more impartiality from the BBC. It's just really nauseating to see such a focus on the Tories/Reform. Particularly reform who have 0 MPs currently compared to Lib Dems/Greens who get only a fraction of the media coverage. I really hope Labour do see the light and reform elections to a proportional representation system.

OPINION POLLS 2019-2024
You also have to take into account that the we have Reform now as well which will eat up some of Labour's voting. Also YouGov likely changed their methodology due to boundary changes as well. The last Yougov MRP poll had: Labour at 39% Conservatives: 22% Reform: 15% Lib Dems: 12% Green: 7% SNP: 3% That still resulted with Labour on 425 seats (range of 401-445). They're likely overestimating the Greens at the expense of Labour. I think their last MRP poll will likely show something similar or perhaps a little more favourable to labour. But this election has quite a lot of seats which are going to be 3-4 way "ties" between Labour/Conservatives/Reform/Lib Dems. Hoping we'll see tactical voting between Labour/Lib Dems/Greens to try to stop conservatives and reform winning various seats.

OPINION POLLS 2019-2024
YouGov's last MRP poll came out 2 days before the election. It was the largest poll (over 100,000 people) and was fairly accurate. YouGov MRP poll vs Election Results: Conservatives: 43% vs 43.6% Labour: 34% vs 32.1% Lib Dems: 12% vs 11.6% SNP: 3% vs 3.9% Green: 3% vs 2.7% Brexit: 3% vs 2% Hoping they will do another large MRP poll and release the data a day or two before the election. It should be fairly represenative, although some wiggle room for parties to do a little worse/better by 1-2%.

Jessie Ware & Romy - Lift You Up
Excited *_* Hope it's a bop!
-
Who should Dua collab with this year?
Another Calvin Harris collab would be great!
-
Non-white artists from the UK
You could also add Freddie Mercury as he was of Indian/Persian descent (who was also born in Zanzibar, which is now Tanzania).

OPINION POLLS 2019-2024
Oh please MRP polls be right *_* Lib Dem's as the official opposition would be amazing.

Canada vs. the World | Season 2
Kinda excited for the cast? Kennedy. Eureka & Alexis alone will be amazing. Add to that Lemon, Miss Fiercalicious and Tynomi and I can see it being a really fierce competition! Basically Canada vs USA featuring UK/France  Hoping Cheryl & Le Fil may do better than expected! Nice to see Le Fil get some more exposure as I enjoyed them on UK season 4!

Woman's World • 1st Single
Yes very much this and her discography has been streaming really well over the last 6 months or so too. If her team play their cards right she could be looking at a big comeback.

UK General Election 2024
Only to now have a PPE wastage scandal of £1.4 billion of tax payer's money.

Buzzjack Voting Intention
Labour at ~45%, followed by Lib Dems at ~30% and with the Greens at 20%. Remaining 5% is the 1 conservative policy I chose regarding pensions (we have some of the worst pensions in Europe for how "rich" we are and the Conseratives unsurprisingly have the most beneficial policy regarding that). Hoping to have the Friday off so I can stay up for the election results. Really hoping the conservatives go below 100 seats.

These Walls • Fourth Single
Love this, glad it's the 4th single. I hope this does well so that they push "Happy For You" as the last single later this year.
-
Woman's World • 1st Single
I quite like the snippets so far, hoping the fully thing will be even better!

Streaming Services Chart Discussion
To be fair a lot of that will be from outside the US/Europe where BTS do huge streaming numbers. Particualrly with Spotify's expansion into many Asian countries over the last few years or so. Not to say the song wasn't great/a success! But it definitely had a fairly short chart life in the US.

UK General Election 2024
I think a hung parliament will depend on reform. If they somehow end up doing 25-30% then we would likely see a hung parliament - probably a coaltition between Labour & Lib dems. But I doubt they will cross the 20% threshold let alone 25-30%. I'm thinking Reform will end up doing ~10-15%, Conservatives 15-20% with Labour on 40-45%. That will give labour 400+ seats quite easily.
-
OPINION POLLS 2019-2024
I hope these trends continue. Not that I like to see Reform so high, but they will completely split the conservative vote making way for Labour/Lib dem gains and destroying the conservatives. We could be looking at less than 100 seats for the conservatives which is unprecedented :cheeseblock: Single digits perhaps? :cheeseblock: Ok maybe the latter is a bit too optimistic

I'm literally getting "Please Please Please" autoplayed everytime now  It's getting kind of exhausting (no I won't turn off autoplay, I enjoy it for the most part and it usually doesn't have the same song autoplaying every single time until now...). Hopefully autoplayola will calm down for Sabrina soon. May give Billie a chance of going top 3 then.

Woman's World • 1st Single
Artwork is great! Snippet of a verse, production sounds good. Certainly sounds like it will be a bop, I can imagine it having an explosive chorus. Katy teasing the song through TikTok 3 weeks in advance... They want this to go viral to debut well in the opening week. They aren't playing games it seems! *_*

Is Taylor Swift threatened by other female artists' success?
Personally I don't think she's threatened. She is just in the midst of becoming the best-selling artist to have ever lived and she is really pushing to make sure she has all the accolades to back that up. If she had all her certifications updated properly in the US, she would be the most certified artist in the world. She's the queen of capitalism in the music business. Also I think too many people deflect decisions to her team/label. Taylor obviously has total control/say over her career and the team she's surrounded with will be people she's hired/picked out. So the decisions her team are making are reflective of Taylor to a degree. She's coming for 1 billion+ sales now. And in the middle of her tour she wants to make sure she's at the top wherever she can. Although I wouldn't be surprised if there was some pettiness mixed in in some weeks (mainly Billie in the US & Charli in the UK).

SPOILERS | RPDR | All Stars
Sad to see Peppermint gone :( Although pleasantly surprised to see Darienne back! Honeslty I don't see Bosco or Aja dominating. You have quite a lot of queens who will be good at specific challenges that will likely win over them both - Acid Betty in design challenges, Denali/Coco in dance/performance challenges and Darienne in comedy challenges. Plus you have queens like Olivia Lux who did really well on their season and could easily dominate if they've had a good glow up! Not to mention some potential dark horses in Irene & Aiden as I can see both doing better than people expect! Aiden's had a particularly great glow up since season 12 and could see them having some incredible runways (their original runways in season 12 they made themselves with limited funds, their S12 finale look was great and I hope we can expect more of that!). Not to say I don't see Bosco or Aja getting some challenge wins - this could actually be a very even playing field amongst the queens if the challenges are well balanced! Whilst I would love to see Darienne win, I think that's very unlikely!
