Music Video Relevance
To be fair "Bloody Mary" didn't need one with the viral dance music videos which have 500 million+ views combined (The main version has ~411 million views currently and is getting 400-500k views/day still as well). Music videos can still make a difference and I really enjoy good videos. Megan Thee Stallions "Hiss" video definitely helped the song to debut at #1 in the US (and top 40 in the UK) for instance. The fall in youtube is main due to TikTok. Also, spotify has added music videos over the last 6 months or so. I assume views of these count towards song stream totals and may also be a reason for youtube views falling further?

Happy to see "Harleys In Hawaii" go silver! Should've been a massive hit. :( Glad to see it's trickle selling really well. Going to pass 500 million streams on spotify soon. May eventually overtake "Never Really Over" which has 680 million currently.

Olivia Rodrigo - "Obsessed" Going to be a massive hit, so good! #76 & #144 on Apple Music - hopefully it'll get combined soon. Also #212 on Amazon. The music video is also off to a good start so far with over 1.7 million views. Interested to see how big it debuts on spotify - wouldn't be surprised if it challenges for a top 3 debut or even for #1!

Olivia Rodrigo - obsessed
Sounds promising, perhaps a new #1? Music video being released Friday as well.

Should climb a bit in this weeks chart on Friday. Hopefully on pace for the top 40 next week if it keeps climbing up spotify!

A few songs to watch out for: The Blessed Madonna - "Happier (feat. Clementine Douglas)" Amazon - #231 (new peak) Apple Music - #26 (new peak) Been climbing Apple Music quite a bit. Honestly a bop! I don't believe The Blessed Madonna has ever charted? Olly Alexander - "Dizzy" Amazon - #96 (peak #81 so far) Apple Music - #64 (new peak I believe?) Should start climbing more as we get closer and closer to Eurovision. Doing pretty decent on Amazon/Apple Music so far. ZAYN - "What I Am" Amazon - #84 (new peak) Apple Music - #96 (new peak) Been climbing both quite nicely since released Friday. I quite like the song. Perhaps he'll be able to get a decent sized hit with it! Hopefully spotify will decide to pick up/support the above songs. I assume Olly will be guarenteed closer the time to Eurovision.

Galantis, David Guetta & 5 Seconds of Summer – Lighter
It's top 10 on Amazon. Surprised it's doing nothing on Apple music though. Will likely climb a bit in the chart this week between doing well on Amazon and the video release. It's catchy. Will likely end up climbing into the top 40 in the next few weeks.

Although combined there's probably not much between them. Some other songs on Amazon: 7. Meghan Trainor & T Pain - "Been Like This" 8. Galantis, David Guetta & 5 Seconds of Summer - "Lighter" 10. Sia & Kylie Minogue - "Dance Alone (Ofenbach Remix)" 12. Justin Timberlake - "No Angels" 14. Charli XCX - "Von Dutch" 22. Pharrell Williams & Miley Cyrus - "Doctor (Work It Out)" 39. Ella Henderson - "Mamma You Were Right" 88. Olly Alexander - "Dizzy"

OPINION POLLS 2019-2024
Glad to see the racist donor scandal having an effect. Maybe they will actually average below 20% by the time the election comes round. Quite a steep rise in reform which will hopefully continue at the expensive of the conservatives.

I think Ariana may have it as she has multiple versions on Apple/Amazon, which when combined put her on par or ahead of the others. Amazon Ariana - #6, #35 & #64. Benson - #4. Djo - #9. Apple Music Ariana - #5 & #164. Benson - #3. Djo - #8. Spotify Ariana - #4 (568,945). Benson - #2 (595,714). Djo - #1 (597,324). Youtube (13-14/3) Ariana - #6 (219,572). Benson - #1 (305,776). Djo - #5 (271,245). The youtube numbers aren't entirely accurate as they don't combine live performance versions (Ariana's SNL performance would likely add another 30k or so to her number) Also, despite Ariana being ~30k behind on spotify she might actually be getting more sales than both Benson and Djo due to having a higher ratio of premium streams. She's also starting much closer to both Djo and Benson on spotify this week than last (Last week she was ~130k behind Djo and ~170k behind Benson).

Total bop still, happy to see it having a really good chart run in the UK at least!

eternal sunshine • 7th album
Really enjoying the album, fast becoming my favourite album of hers. It's definitely the most consistent. Although the highs aren't as high as some of her previous albums. So happy to see the album proving so many people wrong after its first day debut. My favourite tracks: "we can't be friends (wait for your love)" "don't wanna break up again" "supernatural" "the boy is mine" "yes, and?"

Ariana is ahead of everyone on YouTube which will likely help. Also she's top 5 on Amazon. I can see her actually getting #1 this week with her current momentum. Hope her label push for the #1 so she can do the chart double! Maybe reduce to 59p on iTunes if it hasn't already!

Ariana Grande - "we can't be friends (wait for your love)" Amazon Prime Chart: #10 (new peak, climbing fast as was in the 30s yesterday) Apple Music: #5 (I believe highest it's been so far?) Spotify: #4 (new peak) Youtube: #1, ~405k streams (for 8-9/3). I wonder if it could keep gaining enough momentum to challenge for #1 this week? Edit: She should keep climbing in tomorrow's spotify update, perhaps even challenge for #1?

Great hold for Ariana! I really enjoy the album so happy to see it hold up so well in its 2nd day  "we can't be friends (wait for your love)" has been doing big numbers on youtube - should get the first day UK numbers later today/tomorrow on Kworb. It's also #38 on Amazon and climbing at a decent pace which is a good sign. Muni Long - "Made For Me" Amazon Prime Chart - #74 (new peak, climbing notably there!) Apple Music - #49 (#16 peak) Spotify - #104 (#66 peak) Hoping "Made For Me" will recover a bit on spotify/apple music. It tends to fall on the weekend due to new releases/the weekend effect. Ariana's album most notably pushing it down this week. Sadly HHUK keeps moving it down slowly week by week. It's now #45 and I don't ever see it rising unfortunately :( Hopefully it hangs around the charts for a while and goes silver at least!

OPINION POLLS 2019-2024
This is the worst they have ever done in opinion polling and the opinion polls are being reflected quite readily in by-election results for the most part. Them prolonging the next election is only going to hurt them further as the budget won't do much to help most people and it'll allow time for reform to really grab a hold of a chunk of the conservative vote. I also think people have become much more aware of the lies from the conservatives and so are less likely to have the wool pulled over them compared to previously as the conservatives have had 14 years in government and they haven't improved most people's lives. Most people are worse off and the NHS waiting lists and such are in such a scary state. Plus add in all the underfunding of other public services, councils etc.... It's rather sad. In regards to Starmer, he may not be held in high regard but the labour party policies are much more likely to help most people (not just in terms of false promises, but actually acting upon them as they have done previous - the fact that the age at which the majority of people that switch from voting labour to conservative has increased is somewhat reflective of this). I'm hoping when election time begins we'll see some quite nice policies from labour. Although the issue is that labour will be in a difficult situation given the state of the country the conservatives have left them with. In terms of the election I really don't know what to expect. I honestly feel like there's a very large chance that the conservatives get all but wiped out with the anger a lot of people have. The key will be Reform and how well they can campaign.

OPINION POLLS 2019-2024
The latest YouGov poll also had them at 20% as well: @1763511825423831298 Overall the polls show a dip in the conservative vote to ~23-25% with Reform gaining quite a bit and now averaging almost 10%. Not sure when the election will be held, but I suspect it may go worse than polls suggest for the conservatives if Reform are able to really push the right messaging and such.

Muni Long - "Made For Me" Amazon Prime Chart - #109 (new peak) Apple Music - #27 (#16 peak so far) Spotify - #81 (#66 peak so far) Climbing quite a bit on Amazon which is nice (I assume added to or placed higher on playlists). Hopefully top 100 soon. Moves down to #41 on HHUK :( Was hoping it would finally be moved up given it went top 40 last week. Still hoping it might do Friday when HHUK updates again.
