To be fair it also released mid-week on streaming services and Dolly passed away the day after. I think if she had released on a Friday it would've charted near the top 20 with the general fanbase streams + NMF/general playlist support. Hoping it manages to stick around as I quite like it!

It might be possible it overtakes "Islands In the Stream" to be her 3rd song next week? Perhaps charting top 100? As I think it's not far behind when combined, at least on Spotify.

Just listened to the album today and hooked. Really strong set of songs - "Great Expectations", "Die On This Hill", "He's Not My Baby, I'm His", "Maybe" + "Material Lover" are my highlights so far but there isn't a bad song. Feels like the type of album that will hang around quite a while due to how solid it is/a number of songs streaming well!

"Jolene" is doing better on Spotify so likely ahead of "9 to 5" when taking that into account. If I remember right there are a bunch of versions of both songs on Amazon so it's likely both are doing quite well there. Plus doing well on YouTube but I don't think kworb captures all YouTube streams from other versions/live versions that may count towards the chart too. Either way excited to see Dolly top 2 and hope there's a mini boost/media coverage to help Dolly get to #1 come Friday.

Hope "Islands In the Stream" can hold on to a top 10 showing even if it doesn't reach a new peak Friday! Sunday chart always has a day of missing data from Spotify and skews towards songs doing well on Amazon/iTunes. Hopefully "Jolene" is #1 with a decent lead!

Dolly holding on fairly well. Should see her songs reach the top 10/new peaks I would think. May be touch and go whether "Jolene" can hold on enough to get to #1 though.

That did make me laugh. Like have you only been playing GTA V for the last 10+ years!? So many games are graphically more impressive!! Underwhelmed by this so far. Will likely play it but in future if it goes on sale.

"9 To 5" and "Islands In the Stream" are still #5 & #6 on Spotify and #3 and #2 on Apple Music respectively. I'm pretty sure they could do slightly more sales this week with a full week which would be more than enough to go top 10/get new peaks.

Sad to see Ariana on ACR. Although with Ariana and Sam/Olivia going to ACR it should make it easier for Dolly to reach new peaks with her songs next week!

There are a number of other versions of "Jolene" that are doing additional streams which would make the lead on "Great Expectations" slightly higher on Spotify. Honestly the whole Ginger lying saga was a fun drama moment for a bit. But the fanbase is vile and takes things way too far. Hopefully Ginger is doing OK and disconnects for a bit whilst the fanbase calms down.
